Sono Seaport Seafood is a very good restaurant located on the sound. The food is excellent even though it's on the expensive side. A 1/2 pound lobster roll costs $60, that's a ripoff. But there's a lot of other options for less money. We did enjoy out time there an do recommend this restaurant.
Best lobster roll I've ever had, and that includes in Maine. Super fresh, large chunks, and the bread was not greasy at all. The side of coleslaw is just an afterthought - small and not very good. But you're not there for the coleslaw. You can get a 1/4 lb or a 1/2 lb. served two different ways. We got it the right way, with melted warm butter. Fast service and great location on the water surrounded by seagulls. Really enjoyable.
The oyster po boy sandwich was good but not much else. The portion sizes are on the smaller side. The Diet Coke was completely flat. We sat indoors because people were smoking outside. The indoor dining lacks ambience and the service isn’t great. We were missing coleslaw that was supposed to come with our order. When we got it, it was a tiny cup and didn’t even taste good. Had to ask for ketchup for the fries - the waitress gave us the little fast food packets. So tacky for...
