I usually have a good experience here, but unfortunately they overcharged my mother for a vanilla sweet cream cold brew that they didn't even make correctly. The total should have been 5.85 with the add ons I had included btw(extra sweet cream and 3 pumps brown sugar.)
They didn’t make it with the modifications that were asked for, so they made it incorrectly and then they overcharged her making the total 8.05 when it should have been 5.85. My mom was getting the order for me, and she isn’t used to starbucks prices so when she told me how much it was after bringing it home to me (made incorrectly btw) I told her not only is it made wrong, but they also charged her way over the total.
I called and a male answered and he said they’d refund it. After she went back and after showing her card charge transaction and the cup with the sticker showing the order, day, time, and register, they didn't refund the order or the difference at least.The girl in the drive thru told my mother “I don't remember you coming,” she was not handed the receipt by that same girl. She showed her that she had other proof and they still denied it for her. I’m glad they remade it correctly, but they still over charged her and refused a refund and even a partial refund could have been good too.

my sister and i arrived before 4am to this starbucks on november 6th for the bear cup drop, as we were the first people to arrive we saw that there was 1 cup on the shelf to be sold. just before 4:30 the employees entered the building and immediately went and took the new various holiday merchandise off the shelves and stored it in the back. when we asked the employees they said it was “first come first serve” but we were there before the employees??? so what right do they have to take the product and purchase it for themselves before the store even opens? the employees name who was trying to make excuses was tyrone. how would you feel if you waited for over an hour for a product you SAW ON THE SHELF and then was told no it can’t be sold to you because the employee got there first?

During a non-busy time in the evening, I just needed a cup of hot water to warm up milk for my child, but this Starbucks insisted that I had to make a purchase to get hot water. I think that’s really inhumane — this is not the Starbucks I know.

It's not necessarily the staff's fault that some customers decide to be on the phone speaker, either while waiting for their order or while enjoying it as they sit at the table. However, the manager should be allowed to say something to these folks. Inclusion, since Starbucks is all about that, shouldn't mean that every rude person out there deserves the perks of a business like this.

Found a disgusting hair sticking out of the drink through the mouth hole of my iced tea when I took my first sip. It was a curly red hair from the woman who served me my drink. Despite me gagging on her hair all they did was offer to remake the drink and I had to demand a refund despite that being an obvious health code violation… this location is not nice or as good as most other Starbucks in the area would recommend going elsewhere.

I don't know what's wrong with this Starbucks that I was in, in this store on Connecticut Ave., I stood at the checkout for several minutes and no one asked me what I needed, so I went to Dunkin and everything at Dunkin was delicious.

I go to this location every week, so I’m actually shocked I had such a nasty encounter today. I was given a "recovery card" for a sold out grilled cheese ($7).. I go inside to use it & it only takes off $4 so the first person ringing me up didn't know what to do because I questioned why I was only getting $4 off & not $7. They call another worker over & she basically did the same thing over & I said the same thing to her that I did to him. She immediately gets defensive & repeats the total.. & again I said the grilled cheese was $7, I paid $7.. She then rips the sticker off the card (like I wouldn't notice) & says in a RAISED tone "oh they gave u this for the grilled cheese? It only has $4 on it, what do u want? U want it for free?!” I was so taken aback at the rudeness, it was honestly disturbing. There was no need for that unprovoked hostility.
