The guy was nice, but that’s about the only positive. What was supposed to be a 15-minute wait turned into 30 minutes, which already set a bad tone. The taco truck itself was boarded up and honestly didn’t look very inviting, but whatever — looks aren’t everything.
Now for the food.
I was promised large birria tacos, well-dipped in consommé. First problem: the tacos didn’t even come with consommé. For $18, that is ridiculous. At that point I gave them the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe the price and the long wait meant quality or freshness.
Absolutely not.
These were hands down the worst birria tacos I’ve ever had. They were overwhelmingly sweet, like someone dumped sugar all over them. The meat was insanely sweet, the onions were cut way too thick, and the flavor was just wrong. Yes, the tacos were crispy — that’s literally the only positive — but no amount of salt or lime could fix the taste.
The sides were just as careless. You get the usual cucumbers, radishes, and limes, but the cucumbers weren’t even fully sliced, and the limes were cut so thin you couldn’t properly squeeze them. It felt rushed and lazy, which is wild considering how long I waited.
I ordered four tacos, and since it was $6 extra for one, I ended up spending $24 total. I regret every single dollar. The taste was so bad that I had to throw out the last two tacos because they were genuinely unbearable.
I didn’t try anything else on the menu, but after this experience, I wouldn’t risk it.

I had high hopes for this taco truck, but unfortunately, it fell short. The tacos are priced as if you're dining at a restaurant, but the quality just doesn't match. To make matters worse, when I asked the owner about some menu items, she was rude and dismissive, which left a bad impression. With so many excellent taco trucks in Norwalk offering better food and service, at more reasonable prices, I can't recommend this one.

Absolutely incredible! The TacoDilla Birria is phenomenal, and the shrimp and chicken tacos are awesome too. Ate too quickly before I could get a photo of anything. Super fresh ingredients and very kind host/chef. So glad I stopped by, will be back!

This restaurant is not located in the area of Norwalk you would expect if you were from out of town. I had a veal dish which was very interesting. The pricing is excellent for Fairfield County. They do need more parking.

If you want tacos and you are in the Norwalk area you must try the taco truck by Holmes st. The tacos are fresh juicy spicy and well seasoned.I order few tacos beef , shrimp , chorizo and chicken. They made them fresh and it was just a great experience overall. I highly recommend this taco truck. You must try it
