I really do love Tex Mexicano — I’ve been a loyal fan, and this is the first time I’ve ever had a “taco tragedy.” On May 5th, we picked up three orders of the special tacos, and sadly, they were overcooked and dried out. Not your usual delicious standard!
I messaged on Instagram the next day, and they responded asking for more info. I sent it right away and kindly requested at least a store credit — I wasn’t asking for a lifetime supply of guac! But after a couple of follow-ups… they ghosted me.
I get that things can get busy, but a little response would go a long way. I still hope someone will reach out — I’d love to keep cheering this place on (ideally with tacos that haven’t seen the underworld of the grill).

Super good and fresh food. Little slow on service and it's aittle hole in the wall but worth it for the really good food.

Tacos Mexico was my absolute FAVORITE when I lived in CT. I just came back to visit and it's even better than ever. It was so great to see Christina too!
Had al pastor tacos, but the flavor was not good. I'm not sure if the owners are Mexican, but they tasted like imitation flavor.
The food is so delicious ?
I’ve only done takeout from here - but each time the burritos are delicious. There are so many options for Mexican in Norwalk and I haven’t tried them all - but this is the most consistent that I’ve had, by far. Also, there is a small bar area with happy hour that looks fun if you are waiting for the train.

Had a good experience here too! Nice little slice of Mexico/Latin-America with a delicious dedicated vegan dish. Ambience was well-appointed and cozy -- loved it. Drinks were good, and I enjoyed the food including the guacamole.

I ordered a Torta Milanesa de Pollo and it was by far my least favorite. It took a couple minutes for them to notice me at the counter, and it took about 20 minutes for it, even though it should have taken no more than 10. Food was pretty mid as well.

We came when they were closing but they were happy to seat us which we appreciated. The waitress Carla was very nice and gave us great drink recommendations she also was very knowledgeable on the weekly deals and their punch card (rewards card). I had the Gran Fiesta which was very good and filling. My best friend had the Carne Asada which he enjoyed as well. Drinks were strong and tasty. We were shocked at how inexpensive they were, especially because their portion size was plenty.
