The taste of food was just like restaurants in India. The spices were perfect. Really liked the food. And the service was very good.

A friend picked this spot to meetup for dinner after work and I was pleasantly surprised. Walking in I was told to sit wherever I liked, first impression was it seemed clean and the table settings were nice. It was quiet but had some calm music playing, a good place to have a conversation while you eat.

The owner was friendly and gave us some background on the inspiration behind the restaurant. He asked what we like (vegetables or meat, spicy or not) and recommended some items from the menu.

I got a Mango Lassi and we get some complementary thin (naan?) chips with a variety of sauces.
We started with some dumplings (medium level spicy) that were served with peppers and onions and they were incredible. Then we got rice, butter chicken, traditional daal, and house naan which was stuffed with onions and very tasty especially with the butter chicken sauce. At the end we tried some rice pudding dessert that had a lighter flavor than it looked, but quickly filled me up.

It was all very good, but next time I would get 2 orders of those dumplings, butter chicken, house naan and take some home. I highly recommend stopping in on weeknight.

First off the atmosphere and vibe was amazing. I came on a night where they were doing a food tasting and as I picky eater I was impressed. I automatically recognized a popular dish , the chow mein; It was my favorite. Can’t wait to come back and try the vegetable and shrimp chow mein!! Also recommend the mango Lassi as well. Thank you!!

Absolutely fantastic experience at Taste of Everest! I ordered the chicken MoMo, which were perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious, and the chicken Makhani, which was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. I accidentally placed my order at the wrong location, but the manager was incredibly kind and accommodating—they prepared my order without any hassle or delay. Excellent food and outstanding service! Highly recommend!

Excellent place! The menu is mostly a blend of Nepalese and Indian options with an American Chinese food element worked in. We ordered a wide variety and were especially excited by the curries, momo dumplings, and a unique curry-leaning take on chow mein. Also not to be ignored; the spice level is true to request with mild (everyone should fine), medium (too hot for some, but still satisfying to the spice lords), and hot (exercise caution) options. Can’t wait to go back ~

Terrible owner!!!! He was absolutely horrible in his behavior towards my partner who was just trying to pick up food for dinner :( Please avoid this place at ALL COSTS. Food was good, but not worth going back to a place owned by such a mean and disrespectful person who clearly mistreats women as well.

I came in on a Saturday night to pick up food and while waiting for my food, a drunk belligerent man at the bar was screaming to the waitress and telling her to come to him, then I saw him kiss her and he was screaming at her to bring the food out since she said it will be another few minutes. I was totally fine with waiting a few minutes. I was happily standing there waiting, minding my own business when the man at the bar told me to sit down. I politely declined saying "oh I'm ok, thank you. I prefer to stand. The food will be out in a minute" he then asked me why I preferred to stand and I said "because I'd rather stand and wait, I don't want to sit down thank you." Thats when he yelled "You're disrespecting me, get out of my restaurant!" I never disrespected him, I politely said no thank you, I'd rather stay standing and wait." Which is my choice. Once he told me to get out I said "seriously?" And he said "Yes! No food for you! Get out!"
I was shocked and asked him "What did I do?" He said it's because I didn't do what I was told to do in his restaurant. He said "we're brothers and I'm showing you respect, you're showing me disrespect." It makes no sense. He was completely drunk, drinking clear alcohol at the bar. Apparently this man is the owner of the restaurant. The food then came out and I was flustered, I just paid for the food and left. The poor waitress was so nice, I feel bad for her being berated by her boss and kissed by him. She apologized and I don't fault her or anyone else at all. The owner is a complete drunk jerk. I told him that I live nearby and I was going to come here regularly because I love Nepali and Indian food, but now I'll never be back again and I'll tell everybody to avoid this place at all costs. No wonder it was completely empty on a Saturday night if the owner is drunk and belligerent at the bar having an ego trip.

I will add that I have severe OCD and I didn't want to sit down because I was in my pajamas and I didn't want to sit in a public place with my pajamas and go back home with dirty clothes. It might not make sense to others, but it is a mental illness I have that I am working on. I thought about telling the owner about this, but I decided that he probably won't understand, and also he doesn't have the right to tell me what to do with my body while I'm waiting to pick up my food. I was in nobody's way, the restaurant was completely empty except for the owner singing loudly off key and yelling and kissing his employees.

The food itself was good which is a shame because I'll never be eating it again. I will ask, was it worth it to be so rude to me? Seriously, get some help.
What kind of owner of a restaurant gets drunk and swears and screams at their first time customer because they didn't want to sit down while waiting?

My regret is actually paying for the food, but I didn't want to waste the food and I felt bad for the chef and waitress who was kind to me. In hindsight, I wish I never gave money to that bad owner.

I had biryani first time in this restaurant(new restaurant at that time). That was good.
So this is my second order pick up & this is the worst food I ever had ? once I opened the box, the smell ???
I ordered veg chowmine ??
Momos were ok-ok

And at the payment counter, after my payment I got somewhere doubt and I asked for receipt. without my consent they directly added tip, when I questioned he blamed me that I only gave tip. At last they refunded!

In the beginning of new it was obviously good but now it’s the worst he is list bother about customers who are waiting in queue.

They have really good tasting food but service is really very slow and unacceptable. Ordered one entree and one roti, it took more than 1 hour for them to prepare. This is my second try. First time I dined in and it was same problem of very slow service.
