My dining experience at Graybarns was anything but pleasant. The head chef has created an underwhelming, flavorless, and unoriginal menu.
When my food arrived it was anything but hot, speaking to the head chef’s inability to properly and efficiently run his kitchen.
If you are looking for a truly great dining experience Graybarns is not your place. It is very apparent that the head chef does not care about food.

The food and server were fantastic, however the management and vallet service are terrible. This establishment requires use of a vallet service for parking. After my mom arrived home from lunch, she realized our house key was missing and the key chain had been bent- clearly it was tampered with. After going through the hassle of changing our locks for safety purposes and then calling the establishment to report this, the owner blamed my mom, said it was her fault the key went missing, and told her never to come back to the restaurant. Shockingly horrible customer service- he guaranteed that we will indeed never be back and will encourage our friends not to as well!
Nice place to have a drink. ? great location. Easy parking! The dessert ? was delicious!

The service and atmosphere were perfect. Unfortunately, the food was tasteless and cold! We had the lobster pasta and steak and both needed seasoning. Arrived at the table barely warm- they need a new chef. So disappointing!

The place has a great atmosphere and the food is pretty good though quite overpriced. But I would never go back because of a shocking experience at the bar. A bartender interrupted our conversation and said “you won’t talk about that here”. Apparently something we were discussing didn’t meet with her sensibilities and she had the audacity to admonish us to stop the discussion. Unbelievable.

So overrated. The food was just ok. We had the fried oysters and the dipping sauces it came with were so random. They were a ranch and sweet and sour chili. The burrata and tomatoes were just that, boring and bland. The steak was so unappetizing. It wasn’t seared and was so fatty. The meal was so expensive and was not worth it.

Service was good - atmosphere beautiful - food poor and expensive. We were served a flavorless gray tuna tartare - a limp piece of fat that was supposed to be bacon, and a swordfish sandwich with amorphous, thick orange sauce. The bartender had a 12 inch beard that was bushy and not hygienic .

This is an amazing place. Always a great experience. Highly recommend. Only suggestion would be to have nightly specials. As someone who frequents this restaurant it would be nice to have more variety in the menu over time.

This is the most fabulous restaurant with amazing food and service. However, sometimes, as it can happen, the restaurant might take its customers for granted. That is how I felt at my lunch two weeks ago and how my son felt about his dinner last week. The tuna tartare for $28 had less than a tablespoon of tuna and can definitely do without the pressed rice which is tasteless. The burrata, which is a "shared plate" was adequately enough for one person. The watermelon in the hamachi crudo had a frozen consistency. After being disappointed, we ventured across the street for dessert. The raspberry filled mini donuts were the best. Please step back and revisit some of these dishes. We want to come back.....
