I recognize that almost everyone rates this place 5 stars. We ordered two roast beef sandwiches for lunch and while they were good, they were a little too fatty and we were disappointed that they did not have the option of putting horseradish sauce on the sandwiches.

Fantastic family run place for breakfast and lunch. The food is uniformly excellent - like high end restaurant fare at diner prices. And the service is always done with a genuine smile. They even have a “scraps for dogs” option which is such a cool touch. Love this spot.

This place is amazing!! My fiancé and I recently moved to Connecticut and we absolutely love it here. Great place for an amazing breakfast sandwich, and a perfect coffee. Everyone is so welcoming and everything is so clean…definitely one of our favorite spots! We are looking forward to having lunch or dinner here soon as well!!

We loved the friendly greeting we received as we enjoyed a wonderful lunch of quiche and DDS burger. Absolutely delicious food and friendly atmosphere. Thank you so much.

Location is not as visible. It's a hidden gem. Great sandwiches. Service can take time. Would love to be back.

As a former restaurant owner, I appreciate excellent food and obvious care about every detail from presentation to restrooms. Simple and delicious. We will be back!

Excellent. Simply excellent. Foodie friends of mine said they’d been and couldn’t recommend, but I was at a loose end this morning while in town and the reviews said otherwise. And boy were the reviews right. I’m a lover of all things swine and this is piggie heaven. I chose to have the number 1… Pork Stack. The roasted and sliced pork loin was absolutely divine, mixed in with bacon and a fried egg and some yummy compote-ey stuff. So why only a 4 star…. I’d have personally liked the potatoes to be crisped on the outside. But yummy all the same.

We live 30 minutes away but whenever we’re in the area, we ALWAYS stop by Dilly Duck and look forward to it! The menu is different enough from your standard lunch spot around here and everything is perfectly executed and delicious - I love particularly the beef platter and roasted chai latte with oat milk which we’re told is roasted by the the chef himself. Plus the lady who works there is literally the NICEST person in the world. There could be a long line yet she’s always smiling and taking time to personally take your food to your table. A must go for sure!!

We heard about the Dilly Duck from a client and came up from Stamford last weekend to give it a try. Dang its good :)Lets get the french fries out of the way, they were fine, nothing crazy... but.....We had the Rotisserie Roasted Beef Sandwich, and the Rotisserie Roasted Pork Sandwich, which both were EXCELLENT!We also had the House made Fizz (Fizzy Palmer) that was fantastic, so good I had to get another for the road. The Iced Tea and Mint mixed so well with the lemon fizz! The Cappuccino was delicious, and then to wrap it all up, I had walked in eyeing the pastry they had on display but before I could order it, the lady behind the counter recommended all of the home-made from scratch cookies they had. So we got one of each flavor, and 2 days later we were still enjoying them. Best cookies: Dulce De Leche, Cranberry Oat, Brownie, and Chocolate Chip in that order for us!!The food was great, the experience was great, the staff super friendly.OH and if you bring your dog with you, they keep scraps on hand from all the trimmings that they give to you on request for your doggo to also enjoy!

Every thing they served here is made in their kitchen and there's a creative chef overseeing things. You can expect a warm welcome from the owner, Phyllis, and chances are she will remember your face on your second visit and your name on the third. This is a solid choice for breakfast or lunch. I can recommend the quiche which changes daily. Specials are always a good choice too. For sandwiches, I highly recommend their roasted pork. They have a nice selection of coffee drinks, but don't miss the farmer lemon fizz - a unique combination of cream and lemonade with fizzy carbonation. With a nice selection of choices to eat and drink that will please foodies and families Dilly Duck is a surprising, casual, unassuming experience. Take out and eat in.
