Love visiting the galley with young kids - tons of lawn games: giant connect 4, giant Jenga, cornhole, giant pong, shuffleboard, chalk, etc. Sometimes live music. You'll pay a lot for drinks, and the food takes a little while to come out but well worth it for the atmosphere you get to enjoy while you wait.
The food here is great, the setting is perfect for the summer, drinks at the bar are great, and the food from the ‘Shuck Truck’ is awesome. Where this place becomes ridiculous is in its complete lack of cohesion and slow service. There’s the galley, the bar, the Oyster truck, and each one has their own system for orders/payment. Need a sign showing the hours for breakfast and lunch, which causes a lot of confusion around 11 when they begin to switch over. But even so...
I love the Galley so much, it is an incredible spot to hang out and watch the sunset and listen to great music. While I wish they had some healthier options, the food they do have is incredible and having a place in the area to do trivia night by the water and hang with friends is awesome. This year they brought in a shuck truck in the evenings and the food is AMAZING. Great to see this place thrive as it has been a hidden gem for a while now.
