Outstanding! A 10/10 experience from the ambiance, to the staff, and most importantly the food. The ambiance inside and the outdoor patio is beautiful and homey. The staff were courteous and very helpful explaining some things on the menu we were unsure about. The food was the star of the show. Went with a group of friends and we tried a variety of plates to share. There was not a dish we had any complaints about! I am obsessed with the fried oyster mushrooms so so good! We also loved the Cacio E Pepe and the duck!!! But truly everything was great. My friends raved about the beets. Would definitely recommend and be coming back! Oh and if you were thinking about skipping dessert, don't. The flourless chocolate cake is delicious ( I added a scoop of ice cream)!

Beautiful ambiance - 3rd time having dinner there. Tuna Tartare was ok; menu is limited and odd. Nothing excited me so I ordered the chicken breast which was thick, tough and very bland on a base of pea puree with cream. Service was good. Overall ...underwhelmed for the price. Don't bother calling for any special requests. They never pick up and inform you via vm that any requests by phone are not confirmed.

Good food, drinks, and decor. Unpleasant hostesses and manager. Would like to return but was not an enviable experience.

This restaurant is oh so cute ! Great decor. Husband and I did a lunch date at this restaurant. Our waiter was so nice ! He made some suggestions and checked in on us a couple of times . The food was good (not great ), however, I will definitely revisit this place in the summer when you can enjoy the outdoors .

This used to be the Silvermine Tavern, and the last time I was there was in the late 1970s when I was a teenager. So I did not recognize the place this time but the food was delicious. I had heard good things about the crispy fried oyster mushrooms, and indeed, they were amazing. Don’t think of the typical greasy deep fry. These mushrooms were light and delicate and the breaded part was more like a dusting of flour. It’s hard to explain but what I’m trying to say is they tasted healthy and good for you. I had the duck for dinner and my friend had the branzino. She doesn’t usually like parsnips but she said the parsnips were delicious. We ate at the Tavern. Did not stay at the Inn.

Rewarding country inn dining. Food is really unusual and delicious. For sure experimental. Great design which feels cozy and exciting at the same time. Worth the effort

Saturday lunch...excellent attentive service, well-prepared food, lovely rooms and locations. We started with a simple romaine salad, then two small plates-- waygu tarare, a special menu lightly fried mushroom dish with dipping sauces-- followed by a very good cacio e pepe entre. Add a few drinks and the tab came to $185+tip. That's a lot for a suburban lunch but really, this place has so much going for it.

What a shame. Such a beautiful location, but the smug, entitled staff treat you like they're doing you a favor by having you there. It would be one thing if they had good food to back it up, but everything about it was underwhelming. Our waitress rushed us through our entire meal, had an impressively sour attitude, and topped it off by passive aggressively slamming a wine glass in front of my wife. Manager did nothing about the situation and had an attitude himself. Thank you Gray Barns for an absolutely miserable birthday experience! Stay away

Incredible location, food, waitstaff. Just had our second Thanksgiving at Tavern at GrayBarns and it was even better than last year. A unique space with fresh authentic delicious offerings.

Great food and service. Setting is amazing. 5 stars The bar staff is extraordinary. Anything you are looking for is possible.

The food was excellent but the menu was confusing in the way they describe appetizers, entrees, and sides. Once it was explained, the food was excellent and the wine list extensive. The service was impeccable and attentive without being intrusive. The ambience is nice and the restaurants isolated in the old Silvermine Tavern. Pretty river views if you are lucky enough to get a table there.

Tavern at GrayBarns is at the top of our favorites list. We've enjoyed the cozy ambiance, wonderful service and delicious food since our first visit. Most recently, we had a delightful anniversary dinner of short ribs and duck with wonderful service by our waiter, Michael. Thank you so much.

Wowowow - we stayed at the inn next door for a couple of nights and were lucky enough to have a couple of meals here. The vibes are immaculate and everyone on staff is very helpful and kind. Everything is truly spectacular, but here are a couple of my faves:Spicy rigatoni - this is a need, not a want. It's the best spicy rig that I've ever had, and actually has a decent bit of heat ~cough, Carbone~ Steak tartare - this is really delicious and quite filling tooGazpacho - this was super savory and yummy - we couldn't believe that it didn't have cream! Tomato burrata salad - super fresh and seasonal! Prince Edward Island oysters - very very tasty and fresh The cocktail menu and wine list is also great! You will not regret stopping by :)

Beautiful location, solid service, nice food. The kind of place which has its act together. We have beenbreuken now several times since we returned in the area, and never disappointed. They have nice options seating wise, at the bar, at a table in the bar area, a larger seating area and outside. Great place!
