Went here for my anniversary for the first time and it was a great experience. Our server was knowledgeable and really set the stage for what our night would entail. The porterhouse we ordered was excellent and the sauces were perfect. Will 100% be returning again.
Our stay for my girlfriend and I anniversary was incredible. The staff were attentive, kind, and efficient. The best steak i ever had compared to all the high end restaurants I have been too. Our server Pablo was AMAZING!!!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We hadn't dined at WP for several years, since they closed their Georgetown CT location, where we dined often (pre-covid). We decided to try it again the other night in Norwalk. They offer a variety of GF items which my wife requires due to allergy, so this is great! The staff and service crew were awesome from start to finish! Very attentive... but we were shocked at the cost of their menu items. I understand that going out for a steak is going to be expensive, but $68 for a NY Strip? $75 for a Ribeye? Plus $12-15 per side, like mushrooms? $32 for a cauliflower 'steak'? Really? I could go on with many other menu items. My wife and I enjoyed the other (non steak) dishes we ordered but even these were pricey and I just don't think that the prices are justified. Is it tariffs? Inflation? Or just price gouging. I am truly not cheap, and I'm used to paying $200+ for dinner for two for a good meal, but I felt like we were settling for cheaper menu items because we stubbornly wouldn't pay their prices for higher end dishes. I don't think we will be going back. Sorry.
Steaks were cooked perfectly and sauces were delicious. A truly amazing wine list. Highly recommended. Service was impeccable
Food was delicious! Drinks were well-made and the service was excellent. Definitely coming back
The service was excellent; as was Trevor! Unfortunately the ribeye steak did not live up to expectations; it was very tough, fatty and flavorless. Obviously a lower-end cut of meat. All the other food was vey nice. The covered patio, where we were seated, was quite loud; uncomfortably so. The poor quality of the ribeye and the intense noise level will keep us from going back.
We always eat at the bar and we love it! The bartenders are amazing! The food was delicious and the wine was excellent.
The restaurant (from the atmosphere to the food) has changed since the last time I was there a couple of years ago. It's more like a bar vibe now (at least for brunch). We went there for brunch, and the restaurant was mostly empty, with a few people at the bar area. I ordered a spinach omelet with a side of bacon. The bacon was so burnt that I could not eat it, and the omelet was fried, not fluffy. The waitress was very attentive and removed the bacon from the check. One of our guests had the steak and she said it was delicious. The grilled salmon was also good. To make matters worse, I was double charged for brunch and am still waiting on my refund.
Pablo was excellent host, the octopus, NY steak, Lamb, Rioja and Sunday were all excellent
Love Washington Prime, meal and service was top notch. Anytime I'm in Fairfield County this is my goto restaurant. Thanks for the hospitality.
