First timer. Great bakery with good products. Little high on price compared to other bakeries locally around Darien area. Enjoyed sourdough bread.

Wow what great food.
I recommend the too good to go bags. There must have been 50 bucks worth of baked goods in there for 7.50.
The bread and pastries are all amazing.

I recently moved nearby and came in today for my 3rd or 4th visit primarily for their wonderful sandwiches & bakery items, but the icing on the cake is their fabulous staff. On my very first visit months ago I have a lovely conversation with a staff member working behind the counter, and not only did she remember my face but she asked me how the new neighborhood was treating me. I ate the Vesuvio which is perfect every time. It tastes like something you might get in a little cafe on a side street in Italy. Fantastic. I also got their salted caramel macaroon and after our lovely chat and checking that I don't have any allergies, the server gave me one of their new macaroon flavors to try! The Apple Butter Macaroon was delicious. Real jam on the inside, and a sweet creamy filling. So come for the food but take the opportunity to dine in when you can. It's worth it.

We had such a wonderful experience at Wave Hill Breads Bakery! We had pistachio croissant and a pizza and everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. What really made our visit extra special was the lovely Angela, who took such great care of us. She was welcoming, kind, and made us feel right at home. Between the incredible baked goods and the warm service, this bakery is truly a gem. Can’t wait to come back!

Do you want me to make it sound more short and casual for Google/Maps style, or a bit more romantic/poetic for something like Yelp or social media?

As a Frenchman and fairly loyal customer, I love the bread, the “patisseries” are delicious and the Parisian sandwich is good but why charge almost $20 for it?

Best bread I’ve ever had. I’m obsessed with the wild-yeast sourdough miche.

They really need to learn how to make drinks properly. I asked for a medium hot latte to go and half of the cup was just foam! Also, it wasn’t even hot enough when I took a sip!
Absolutely delicious!!!

The best 3 Cheese Baguette
Hands down, Wave Hill makes the best bread in Connecticut. Their loaves are beautiful, and clearly made with a lot of time, and care. Pick up a loaf to go, use it at home, and you can't do any better.
Their sweet baked goods are, for me, where things fall down a little. I haven't tried everything on offer (obviously) but nothing I've ever eaten has absolutely wowed me. Nothing is bad, or even in the region of bad, it's just often a little forgettable. Especially when compared to the bread.
The coffee is very good. Not fantastic, but very good. It's reliable. And some of their latte creations are interesting.
Service has always been friendly, and efficient, and the atmosphere is fine for what it is -- this isn't a cozy joint, but there's tables and chairs, and it's friendly.
If you're in Southern CT, make a pilgrimage for a loaf or two. If you're in Fairfield county, you could do much worse for your regular coffee place. Extremely solid spot, that could be even better.
