Had lunch there a few weeks ago and I had the stuffed fish with a lobster sauce it came out one of the ends of the fish was burnt no big deal. It just wasn't good at all I decided to have potato puffs with it I had a few of those but as far as his stuffed fish goes very small and not good. I won't to go back.

We were in town in business and decided to give 36 Town Grill & Tap a try one night for dinner. We loved it so much that we went back again the very next night, and if we were staying in town longer I’m sure we’d be back several more times. The food was delicious, prices fair, and portions are generous. What made the whole experience even better was our AMAZING server, Leslie. Give this woman a raise! She’s a powerhouse! ❤️

Me and my dad still have a bad taste in our mouths.

We had high hopes because the staff was super charming and the atmosphere for nice and cozy. The margarita and stuffed mushroom appetizers were also great.

However, our actual meals were pretty gross. The steak had no flavor aside from brunt dryness- literally tasted like I ate an hunk of charcoal- and even though I ordered it medium rare it came out well done and super tough. My dad said his burger was super gamey and dry. He wanted to chew some gum afterwards to get the taste out of his mouth.

I feel bad writing this review because the staff was really sweet, but the food was really disappointing- disgusting even- and I wish we went somewhere else to eat.

The “Bomb” seafood in Labsta’ bisque was outstanding. Our server Shay was terrific. Found the place on Yelp…..just traveling on 395 in CT. The place is in the shopping center BEHIND the liquor store that the GPS sends you to. (Put “42 Town St in your GPS.) A very pleasant place.
