This is a street side shack, no ambiance but the food was delicious, fish, calamari, clam bites, shrimp, onion rings and fresh made delicious Cole slaw. Caitlin was super nice, made suggestions and we were delighted. Although I didn’t love the New England clam chowder or lobster bisque, my husband did!
Stopped in for an early dinner on a Saturday evening and had a great meal. I had the shrimp platter special with beer battered onion rings, hush puppies & cole slaw. The bride had the calamari platter with onion rings and cole slaw. Everything was hot, fresh & delicious. The owner came out to deliver the food & we had a great chat. We highly recommend Johnny's Clam Shack. We were even offered a sampler cup of their chowder & lobster bisque. Not many...
The food was fresh and delicious. The service was wonderful. Food came out hot and quick. They had tables under a tent or picnic tables facing the road. It was not too bad. It’s a quick place to grab some good food and leave. Which is what we did. Well worth it.
