Dirty dark and dingy. Breakfast was abysmal. Service was poor. Coffee a pale tan and lifeless. This not the restaurant I remember from years past. Rodney do you still own this place? Won't be back.

We went for breakfast because our go to .."JOYS" was full to capacity. We were seated right away in the small 2 person booth area at the front of the restaurant.Took several minutes for coffee, our waitress Michele was fairly polite about the wait. We got served fairly quickly, she checked in on us then gave us the check before we were done eating. Looking at the bill..both our meals came with coffee and my husband was charged for coffee.my breakfast was early bird and the charge $10.99 instead of $9.99.. a mere $4 difference but the aggravation of asking to see the waitress and she didn't come to the table, so we went to the counter. They called her and she was rude about the coffee coming with his meal and holidays there is no early bird .They fixed the bill but the waitress was rude, walked away from the conversation. In the other areas..the tyler dish was not appealing at all...my sausage was cold..the place did not seem very clean, and when my husband went to the restroom the door hadle going in is broken. Now that is one less place to have a decent breakfast in Norwich..I will wait in line at Joy's anytime. And if the owner decides to respond to this only to defend please don't bother.!

Outdated restaurant run by owners who've given up on caring. Short cuts and cheap food nightmares. Unsanitary. I'm surprised this place hasn't been shut down for food violations. Do not eat here!
Zero Stars ? this OLD place should be torn down. Dirty, dusty, dingy, stinky, just nasty.

Stopped here for lunch with my family. All the food was super fresh and delicious. The bathroom wasn't very clean and could use some updating. But the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming. Will definitely return!
Food is always good. On this occasion I enjoyed the Rodney burger. The menu said it was featured on The Food Channel.. My wife had scrambled eggs with hash browns.r. The waitress was prompt, courteous and attentive. The restaurant has an old style ambience and is very comfortable and homey. My only negative observation concerns the restroom which was too cold on this day and in need of restoration!
Very sweet waitress.good breakfast.
