I love the ambiance, I ordered fish & chips and the flavor was on point. I was with my family and lil some lil kiddos, they were family friendly, I found the fish crispiness to be an excellent crunchiness. Our waiter was patient with us despite our lil ones being a lil on the messy side. The broccoli side dish was a hit for the lil ones, it was well flavored and cooked.

This place is part of a renaissance for Norwich- I applaud them for that.

1. It is very noisy/ they need some acoustic dampening. The furniture is cold and looks distressed in an unflattering way.
2. The food is excellent- was suprised that it was the same price point as other places in new London county, like mystic: more expensive markets. Fries could be better (maybe using frozen ones) but everything else we had was very good.
3. The beer: I had the red ale and the heffevisen… they were “hot”: meaning despite being moderate to low abv, there was a strong taste of alcohol, which points to improper fermentation / at the price point I wouldn’t expect this- it was most pronounced in the ale.
4. Service was slow, but polite (they acknowledged and apologized) - maybe just short staffed.

Overall a positive experience and I hope that continue to improve with Norwich.

Not the greatest location but it's worth a look. Smallest portions I've ever had.

I want to start by saying... The food was GREAT! ....We came in around 2 p.m. as a party of 16 between baseball games... There was a couple seated and MAYBE 3 people at the bar, so by no means was it BUSY. We were "greeted" by possibly the most miserable server I have ever encountered... We decided to try and "kill him with kindness. ".... It did not work, and it was almost comical how much he DIDN'T want to be there! The kids (14-16 years old and all respectful) were all commenting and texting their parents about his attitude. In the act of rushing them and yelling at them to "speak up," he then missed orders so kids were kept waiting while others ate. The drink and food menus were amazing! They were out of some drinks, and no other suggestions were made. When another asked about merch, that they were advertising, Mr. Personality grunted and pointed to a lone dusty hat hanging on the wall. Great variety of food. It was hard to choose, but the experience was tarnished by this Oaf and his attitude!

Kid-friendliness: NOT kid friendly....AT ALL....If you are "lucky" enough to get our same server! I'm sure it would have been a much better experience otherwise.

This place was great!! Such a gem. The burger I had was amazing and the service was on point and very attentive. There was a very casual and cool atmosphere and the beers were all winners. If I’m ever in the area I will definitely return!

Food, drinks & service wre pretty good, except for the lobster roll that I ordered bc they better out of fish, including the salmon on their menu. I have never had a lobster roll with so little taste!

I wish I had pictures for your lovely place like I usually do but I also didn't want to sleep on writing a review. The first time I came here was for a trivia night for my husband's coworkers. We had chicken wings and they were delicious.

Second trip was prompted by a Norwich Community social media group that kept bragging about their burgers so decided to a family member and try it. Hands down the best burger I've ever had in Norwich. Now I know where to go to hit that craving locally.

Good menu of beers and cocktails, clean and cozy, kinda chill classy vibes. Nice place to hang out with friends, have a small event, or just relax with other locals.

So I have no complaints about the food or the staff…. However every time we are there, it takes FOREVER from start to finish. If you are trying to have a quick bite, this is not the place. But the food is absolutely delicious and the wait staff are great and friendly.

I was in the area and my google search brought me to this place, since they offered food I chose this brewery over others. The service was good, our table was constantly checked on by Carly. As far as the food and drinks, they were underwhelming, I ordered the brewhouse burger and the citrus sunset. The burger lacked flavor and the fries were more soft than crispy (my preference) relied heavily on the seasoning, fell short. Overall the price did not match with the quality of the food and drinks.I personally will not be returning and if you’re reading this review as a potential customer; I am not your stomach, try this place out yourself.
