Had lunch there the past couple of days and let me say the food is amazing. I had the steak fiesta burrito 2 days in a row and it was delicious. They also have a rice pudding that is so good too. Definitely would recommend stopping if you’re in the area. Food came over super fast too!!

Tried this place for the first time tonight. The parking lot was packed! The inside is very small with only a couple tables. I tried the fajita burrito, it really didn't taste like much. As another reviewer mentioned, the steak isn't really steak. $12.50 with no sides, and the buritto wasnt very large. I suggest they make it $15 and include some chips and salsa. However, chips add salsa are 6 bucks and chips and guac are 9. At that price, I'd rather just eat at a sit down Mexican restaurant.

Expensive, for bland food. The "steak" turned ot to be ground beef in my meal. I can't imagine this place making it long term at these prices and quality of the food. Sorry!

Ehh won't eat there again, maybe it was an off night for them given their reviews. We had ordered take out and when we got home, I noticed that we were shorted a taco, wasnt about to call up about it, not to mention the portions were VERY small. An adult can easily eat 5 tacos plus sides, needless to say, we were still hungry afterwards. The chicken tacos were dry and wrapped in a double soft shell which took away from the flavor with the strong doughy corn taste. Two adults should be able to dine out for $50 and be reasonably full. We were not, missed the mark.

Please note this is in Old Lyme at exit 70 right off Rte 95 Really love this place . We get take out at least 3x week. Delicious selection just wish that there was more seating
My 11 year old describes the food here as "bussin'" which I understand means REALLY GOOD. And it is. I haven't had a single menu item that I didn't like. I especially love the short rib tacos and carne asada tacos. The plaintains are heavenly. In a perfect world I would have a swimming pool full of the queso. There are only a couple tables inside, so we mostly do takeout. Papi's has been a great addition to Old Lyme!

Great tamales, reasonable prices.I was on a quest for authentic tamales in Connecticut. These are a traditional Mexican food at Christmas and New Years. I found some at a new place (to me) in Old Lyme. We will definitely be going back soon, not just for more tamales. They only had four pork left to sell on this day.The tamales are excellent. Authentic. And not on the menu.I’ll be back for the tortas, a big sandwich on a Mexican roll. Also on the menu are tacos, tostados, and burritos. There is nothing on the menu priced ove $15.Gracias Papi’s.Haste luego!
