My 11 year old describes the food here as "bussin'" which I understand means REALLY GOOD. And it is. I haven't had a single menu item that I didn't like. I especially love the short rib tacos and carne asada tacos. The plaintains are heavenly. In a perfect world I would have a swimming pool full of the queso. There are only a couple tables inside, so we mostly do takeout. Papi's has been a great addition to Old Lyme!
Already planning to stop back - what a hidden gem! The food is amazingly delicious, the staff offered great suggestions. Food arrived quickly, hot and, again, delicious!Dietary restrictions: I am dairyfree - they happily accommodated.

Had lunch there the past couple of days and let me say the food is amazing. I had the steak fiesta burrito 2 days in a row and it was delicious. They also have a rice pudding that is so good too. Definitely would recommend stopping if you’re in the area. Food came over super fast too!!
