What a cool place! Attention to detail here and authenticity is top notch. Not only do they have brunch service, pastry counter, and coffees, they have a lot of specialty grocery items that are nicely curated and add to the vibe while you’re eating. Our waitresses were very attentive and knowledgeable. Boursin omelette was amazing, and we will definitely be back for more pastries!!!

My husband bought 3 different pastries and some macarons. Everything looked gorgeous, stunning but none of it was edible. Every item was overly sweet with an underlying taste of aspartame or another artificial sweetner. There was a napoleon type tahitian vanilla dessert that was so stale, it tasted like paper. I don’t understand all these reviews. I rarely turn down a dessert, but we had 6 different items and I finished nothing, no one in my house did.

Lovely shop. The owner is talented, putting out French bistro classics that are delicious.. They offer very beautiful pastries as well as a variety of French goods to shop from... my biggest complaint is that it is an hour away lol. Worth the drive.
Exemplary service and scrumptious food items available for purchase. Saybrook is fortunate to have such a charming French eatery.

This place is unbelievably delicious. The cocottes are amazing, and the croissants are best of the best. You’re in good hands here. I try anything here and it always comes out far better than ever imagined.
One of the best chocolate croissants I have ever had! We also tried an egg Cocotte for the first time, which was delicious! Not only was the food and coffee delicious, but the staff was also super welcoming. Hope to be able to return one day! If you are in the area I would absolutely recommend!
