This is absolutely my favorite place to eat in old saybrook. Whether it be breakfast or lunch or dinner I have not been disappointed. I was especially impressed by breakfast here. My waitress Paige was so accommodating and kind. She made all the difference in the experience we had. I wish they had 10 of her. I would highly recommend for atmosphere hospitality and food. Above and beyond and excellent.

David, our server, was outstanding and made our dining experience memorable and seamless. He recommended dishes that we otherwise wouldn't have tried, was proactive and thoughtful. Appetizers and dinner were great but dessert missed the mark.

Fresh Salt has definitely improved recently. We had the cauliflower and parsnip soup which was so amazing, and a ricotta brûlée which was so unique and special. The cIoppinno for my main course was great (I asked them to make it spicy) and my wife loved her cold lobster role. The chef had really has done a great job keeping some solid classics and bringing in some new creativity.
