Came here for Kim’s famous lobster rolls. We found the lobster to be on the dry/tough side and was lacking in butter. Not saying the food was bad - but not what we were hoping. Great option if you are visiting Harvey’s Beach, but I would not go out of my way to stop here.

Came here for lobster rolls after hearing how good they were. Sadly we were disappointed. Lobster meat was on the tough side and needed a good dose of butter. They weren’t bad, but not great. Fries and onion rings were good. Picnic tables with umbrellas are available, but tables were dirty and sticky. Anyone who eats a lobster roll knows the chunks of meat often fall out of the roll. In this case (no paper plates) the meat falls onto the dirty table making it inedible. At $25 a pop, I want every bite of lobster to land in my mouth instead!

Absolutely Delicious Lobster Rolls! A must visit when in Old Saybrook. Harvey’s Beach is nice place but adding a lobster roll to the experience makes it fantastic! And Kim and her people are super nice

Great lobster rolls and beautifully cooked fries at Kim's beachy "shack" right by the sea in Old Saybrook. Lots of quality lobster meat on a beautifully grilled brioche roll. Fries were crisp, hot and delicious, made with really good potatoes too.

We all had the hot buttered lobster roll. The lobster was fresh and plentiful and absolutely delicious! General consensus was it was the BEST lobster roll.. and we’ve had them in many places. The fries appeared to be hand cut and we crisp and perfect. Already looking forward to next summer and another lobster roll!
Food was delicious, the portions were great and the staff was very friendly :) they let you customize your burger which was cool

Best lobster roll I had all summer. Brioche bun was toasted perfectly. Lots of lobster. Excellent fries, large breaded chicken fingers were very tasty. Fresh food! I was impressed and the gal that owns it reopened to feed us at 630. I’d give 6 stars if I could
