There was a time when La Marea was heads and shoulders above the rest of the restaurants in the area. Now is not that time. The food was good but there was no 'Wow' factor that corresponds to the price and the aura that emanates from the restaurant. The service provided was excellent and consistent. The server clearly knew that menu, which was a plus. Would I go back? Yes, but it is not at the top of my list. La Marea is now just a good restaurant, which I would go to once a year.
We had a lovely evening. Our server was gracious and helpful. Food was delicious. Noise level made it a bit difficult to hear our table mates but it was a Friday night in August so to be expected.
Great place for a delicious and quiet lunch with friends. Food was extraordinarily fresh. My friend commented that it was the best sandwich he has ever had. Says a lot! We will be coming back.
The menu online is not the actual menu that will be presented. At the time of dining, the restaurant was understaffed, so the menu was a smaller one (understandably). The food was delicious and made with lots of care.
Excellent food, service and very accommodating. We wanted to sit at the bar, and they were able to switch us without issue.
Always a great experience with Juliana and Nino at their wonderful restaurant. Reminds me of visiting my relatives in Italy. Warm, inviting and great food.
Excellent Italian restaurant where you can find real authentic Italian cuisine. I highly recommend it. It is a gem!
We had a wonderful dinner with friends. The food was excellent and the restaurant was superb
The chicken could have been cooked so that the skin was crispier. vegetables were mediocre.
Nino, Juliana and their La Marea family make EVERYONE feel like family. My children and I LOVE La Marea. The menu offers so many options: daughter wants just a pizza, son wants three courses and I want wine and appetizers, everyone is happy. All three of us ALWAYS want dessert. My daughter says their tiramisu is the best she's ever had, the seasonal crostada is my favorite (especially the summer peach & berry) and my son could eat all of them. Thank you for being our neighborhood spot. The Corso-Raynor Family

The veal and scallops (special) were both truly outstanding. Great food, great service and very friendly atmosphere! Thanks Hugo and Joel!!
Our server on Sunday night at 6pm was terrible. Never smiled, serious, could barely understand her since she practically grunted the specials etc. It was our first time at La Marea and while the food was good, we will not be back. A good server can make or break a dining experience and unfortunately it was the latter for us.
Food was delicious! The only downside was they definitely rushed the courses. We felt extremely rushed like they were flipping tables.
Everything was perfect. Hugo great as always. All the staff made dining relaxing while being attentive to every detail. The food amazing as always
Perfect as always! Great food, great drink, fabulous service! Thank you Francesca for making my husbands birthday so special. You knocked it out of if the park!
