Jamie was our server and she was fantastic! The Tuna amazing! The parsnip soup out of this world!

We get to Old Saybrook once every fall for an event, and Liv's is a highlight. Great oysters & clams, perfect martini, every meal we've had has been excellent and the service is right on spot. A favorite restaurant: just wish it wasn't an 8 hr drive away.

Our server Jaime was personable and knowledgeable about the options. We left feelings cared for and full. Overall the experience was delightful

Seated on time and service was prompt and friendly. Server went through the specials twice as we arrived in two groups and was friendly and patient about it. Flounder special was terrific and the burgers were a hit. Cocktails were tasty and bar service was prompt even though it was crowded. Good wine selection with some unusual options. All in all a great experience.

Please consider items for those who don't eat fish . Your chicken dish offered was to be fried in the oil where you also fry fish . Husband had a great meal . During our visit to this exceptional restaurant, we were warmly welcomed at the entrance by Mary, whose friendly demeanor set a positive tone for the evening. Shortly after, our server Ava introduced herself, and from that moment on, we felt well taken care of.

The attentive service provided by Ava was truly remarkable, as she was knowledgeable about the menu and made thoughtful recommendations that enhanced our dining experience.

Liv's is my go to restaurant in Old Saybrook. It is the perfect spot for happy hour or dinner. The cocktails are always fabulous and the food is excellent. The ambience is unmatched as well as the service.

Met up with my brother and his wife for dinner at Liv's; have visited here many times when at the shoreline and it was excellent as always. Lovely ocean-y but not tacky ambience (no fishnets on the walls). Good quality wine list, an always changing menu full of interesting seafood (and non seafood). We shared some appetizers (tuna tartare and shrimp toast); three of the four of us had the seafood fried rice and loved it, I had the branzino, also delicious. Service was professional but not obtrusive. Owners very gracious and welcoming. I never hesitate to recommend Liv''s!

We love the menu with creative dishes and choices for everyone. Three of us had the swordfish puttanesca over bucatini. Fabulous! I'm not sure how the chef prepared the swordfish and got it so tender and delicious!! The sauce was flavorful and just perfect. The seafood fried rice was also delicious. Our waitress was so nice and really excellent ( wish I could remember her name ). Can't wait to go back

Food was great as was the service. Very attentive and friendly staff. Excellent seafood and salads. It is a relatively small dining area and was noisy the night we were there.
