Great place for dinner. The menu is excellent. Our meal was great and prepared to perfection. Would recommend for any occasion.

Our waiter explained everything. Checked on us often making sure our dining experience was perfect.

Luigi's is our favorite red sauce Italian restaurant in the state. Owner Len DiBella runs an excellent operation with great food, good vibes, and wonder staff.

Service was great they were friendly, attentive and professional. The food was excellent. Had the steak it was cooked to the right temperature , juicy and tasty. The drinks were great. What more can we ask from a restaurant.

Our dinner food quality was excellent. Everyone enjoyed the Penne Rustica, Shrimp Blanca & Chicken Piccata dishes ordered. Our waiter was very attentive yet not intrusive. The bummer was the ambience and noise level. The tables were a little close together so we were privy to every conversation around us. We will return because of the food quality though!

Food is fresh, salad was very good all ingredients very fresh. Great bread; the meatballs and sauce are delicious. Very moist, juicy, and homestyle. It's very old school Italian. The service is exceptional!! They want their customers satisfied and the staff makes dining a pleasure.

Luigi's is a consistent very high quality, great value, Italian icon in Old Saybrook. the wait staff are friendly and always helpful. Nice to see this multi generational family owned eatery continue to thrive

Awesome Restaurant! Food was delicious and it is the cleanest Restaurant we have been to in a long time. Our server Zach was the best! We can't wait to travel back from Cape Cod to dine again! They have Buck's Ice Cream which is amazing too! Enjoying our leftovers tonight! Thank you!!

We sat on the outside patio on a beautiful evening so that was fabulous. Our server was attentive, professional and personable. We both ordered small salads. Not hard to make a small salad and it should not be difficult to check the salad for an over ripe cherry tomato before it gets to the table. Also, canned pitted black olives? I cannot remember the last time I had them served in a salad at a restaurant. Needless to say the salads were disappointing. Entrees included a gluten free penne with broccoli rabe made with garlic and oil which was good and the seafood miste over linguine (whole clams, mussels, calamari) with white sauce. Portion size could have easily served 2 people and the amount of seafood was excellent. However, I was surprised that they charge extra for shrimp and/or scallops to be added when the entree cost $35 dollars and to add some shrimp or scallops was another $10. Ultimately $45 for a mixed seafood pasta at most other restaurants will include a couple shrimp in the entree automatically for $35. A big positive was the food was not overly salty which we have been finding is the case at many restaurants.

Always great-food, atmosphere, service, everything! You pay less to eat here than the local fast food chain restaurants and Luigi's serves you a fantastic, home-style meal! Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful experience at Luigi's and would go again. The seating was perfect, the food and service was wonderful! Absolutely no complaints and look forward to my next meal there!
