Unfortunately, this sushi restaurant is mediocre. When ordering the sashimi platter many of the fish had a watery taste and mealy texture. The sushi rolls are better and a good option to satisfy that craving; however, it's questionable if the price is worth it. Both times we have eaten there we have had issues with the service. On the first occasion, the waitress was not particularly friendly. On the second visit, there was a miscommunication about an order which resulted in us eating a roll we did not want.

The staff are REALLY lovely and sweet/attentive, the place is really cute (very small) and the fish is very fresh/well preserved but otherwise.....the portions are ABSURD we paid like 8$ for a desert the size of a make-up sponge and a like 26$ for a dish that was microscopic and DROWNING in Seaweed salad to the point it was inedible. It was 100% not an entree. It was very disappointng in the price/portion/balance. Had to get food from a different resturant.

Was recommended this place and finally got to check it out. Very glad we came! Great nigiri - especially the otoro and sweet shrimp. I always love a sushi spot that can do wasabi root and the sweet shrimp head too!

Cute place. Nice atmosphere, but pricy. Food and drinks were very good but smaller portions.

Having moved from Carmel to Connecticut, I have been starved for great sushi. At last, I discovered Nori. June, the owner, and her sushi chefs and staff know their sushi...incredibly fresh, beautifully presented. I was particularly impressed with their Miso soup...Nori purees edamame and blends it with the Miso soup. A delicious hearty addition. Finally, the warm mixture of wood and subdued decor, great service, and geniuine interest in their customers make Nori my place for Sushi. Eat there once, you will agin and again. Julian Bills

Absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I have come here multiple times and we finally decided to try the Omikase. It was sooo worth the money. We will continue to go back to this place again and again!

Got lunch with my friends and the bento boxes were great. It comes with a little bit of everything from soup to roll to rice. We shared the spicy edamame which was so addicting. Great relaxing place for lunch, definitely coming back for dinner.

They did not give us the food for about an hour even though there was only a few families there. When we did get the food they messed up on multiple dishes. It is way over priced and had the worst service.

My friends, family and I had a pleasure of dining at Nori and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The quality of the food was outstanding—each dish was fresh and bursting with flavor. It’s clear that only the highest quality ingredients are used, which makes a significant difference in taste.
The service was equally impressive. The staff were attentive, friendly, and professional, ensuring that our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations.
The ambience of the restaurant added to the overall experience. It was warm and inviting, with a beautiful decor that made it a perfect setting for a relaxing meal. The presentation of the food was also top-notch, with each dish being meticulously plated, adding to the overall dining experience.
I noticed some negative reviews on the restaurant’s website, but I couldn’t disagree more. Perhaps those reviews were based on an off day, as my experience was nothing short of excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend Nori to anyone looking for an authentic and delightful Japanese dining experience. This place truly stands out among other restaurants, and I will definitely be returning soon.

This was some of the best sushi I have ever had. The Surf n’ Turf Roll was mind blowing. All of the rolls we tried were perfect.
Excellent customer service…friendly and attentive.
Excellent presentation…clean and creative.
Excellent cleanliness…restaurant, menus, bathroom… all of it showed an attention to detail.

Just had to walk out with how slow it was. Paid for the 2 drinks we received but no apps or anything other than water for 1 hour. No sign of food on the way either. We’re told “it’ll be just a minute” 30 mins for the apps. The place was nearly empty as well so not sure what the delay or confusion was. Awful first experience. Ended up at livs down the road.
