Exceptional sashimi. I had the omakase; all of the fish was very fresh and well prepared. A5 wagyu was very good. Wife had tempura - very good, and udon- only ok. Prices are about as expected, $98 for omakase.

The place was cute. I had the sushi and I thought it was really fresh and great. My bf had the lobster and shrimp combo. It's a Japanese place with some fusion to it. The lobster dish has some Thai flavors to it. It was just ok. The fried rice.....well, didn't taste like normal fried rice, lacks some flavor. Gyoza was fine, can't really crew that up. I will certainly go back to give it another try for sure.

Service was excellent! Atmosphere was very good! Unfortunately the food was bad today! This used to be one of our favorite places but sadly, not anymore. 1) The miso soup was watered down! It used to be excellent and unique because it has edamame and thick. 2) The fried rice was greasy and more Chinese than Japanese. 3) The kimchi was old. It should NOT have been served! 4)The chicken and the salmon tasted more like Chinese cooking than Japanese.
Again, excellent service provided by the waitress.
So, we’re sure the restaurant’s food will be liked by others. But not us! We won’t be going back. If we wanted Chinese food we would have gone to a Chinese restaurant. Sorry!
