Som Siam East Thai Restaurant

This is my best friend and I go to take out place and then there are Thai iced tea with boba the best I've ever had.

Dont mind the exterior, this place is a hidden gem. The food is always on point and flavorful traditional Thai. Been coming here now 5 or 6 times. You wont be disappointed.

I used to come here a lot and the food was always amazing and exactly what was described, but I just went and I don't know if they gave me the wrong dish, but I ordered the peanut curry, my favorite, but this time there were hardly any peanuts and no pineapple and it had other vegetables like cabbage that I don't particularly like and didn't expect. Their card machine doesn't work, and I tried to call to ask if something went wrong with the order, but their phone is disconnected.

When I arrived my food was ready, but was told the credit card machine was out of paper, would not work. Had to leave, find an ATM to pay with cash, and return while food got cold. To top it off, when I got home they did not include rice with the meal or an extra peanut sauce, both of which were paid for, and initiated an arguement with my wife which ruined the while damn evening. MY ADVICE: CHECK YOUR BAG BEFORE YOU LEAVE AND BRING CASH, OR FIND ANOTHER RESTAURANT.

I really enjoy the food, but the restaurant itself is definitely suffering. Service is understaffed during certain times and the decorum is okay at best.

Be careful about placing your order using their online system. Mine was scheduled for 6 which gave them 35 minutes lead time. When I arrived I think they started making the order, pretty annoying been waiting over 20 minutes as I write this review. Food was good though and usually they are on time. Only other complaint there were no cashews in my pineapple fried rice. I do still recommend Som Siam.

Love all their curry here. There should be commercials and billboards about this place! They'll be paid for every commercial anyway.

The food is wonderful, but the service is hit or miss.

Delicious! This is the second time I've gotten take out and it's been great both times! I tried the chicken curry puffs this time- hand made and out of this world delicious! My 1 1/2 year old daughter shovels this food right in!

Great service. Quaint atmosphere. However the entrees left a little more to be desired. Appetizers were on point and authentic.

This place is fantastic, the food is wooooonderful. They gave us free thai tea while we were waiting for takeout, and free dessert samples to take with us!

The food is fresh and great here but the atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired. The building needs freshening up, inside and out.

This place has become very inconsistent. Their som siam noodles are usually awesome but last time I got the drunken noodles they were awful. Some of the other dishes have been disappointing recently as well.
