I’ve now ordered for 2 business events and again for Thanksgiving from here (not to mention some trips in between). My customers were blown away by the attention to detail on the sugar cookies for both events and we have not had a single item as a family we wouldn’t recommend (a few favorites- morning glory muffin, cinnamon sugar donut, pumpkin cheesecake). Amazing service, amazing desserts!

Baked goods are 10/10 here! Absolutely love the selection and the scones especially. Really cute shop and the staff is always efficient and friendly. Love that this is a quick stop down the street from me in OS.

After tasting the cake at one of my friend’s weddings, I knew I was going to be reaching out to them for my own wedding. After reaching out for additional information, I was connected with Courtney who was so flexible with all of my questions and concerns for the cake. She offered to provide a list of flavors to sample and offered to create a combination of flavors for the different tiers. The cake was so delicious an I’m glad I ordered extra for a second helping after the night was over! I could not recommend the Pursuit of Pastry enough!

This place never disappoints and is my go-to bakery since moving to the area. I usually stop in for a coffee & a baked good, but we decided to use them for cookies & cupcakes for a baby shower. I sent them some inspo photos, and OMG did they deliver. I cannot thank you a enough! Order in advance, you will not be disappointed.

These were a gift to me so I didn't get to go in the shop myself but these were delicious! The only thing is I thought the donut would have had filling and it didn't. I'm not sure if it was supposed to or not. But everything was so tasty!

MESSAGE TO THE OWNER....Please don't advertise yourself as a bakery who makes fine French pastries because it's just not true !!!!I came to visit over the years a few times because people in the area kept telling me that you have French pastries..I am a French national and I can tell you there's nothing French in your store..I am messaging you because you're misleading the American consumer, which is really bad for real French pastry shops..
They created an amazing cake for our boys' graduation. it was as delicious as beautiful. and the cupcakes that accompanied were to die for!

Pursuit of Pastry is AMAZING! This is my go to bakery, not just for last minute sweet tooth fixes, but for planned ones! I have custom ordered cookies and cakes on multiple special occasions and they are always beautiful and delicious. My absolute favorite are their custom iced sugar cookies! We have had these made for baby shower, bridal showers, weddings, birthdays, and more, and, no matter what we ask of them design wise, they always come out absolutely perfect and we get so many compliments on them at the event!

Needed a simple but elegant cake to commemorate my parents 60th wedding anniversary and Courtney at Pursuit of Pastry did an excellent job! Cake was delicious, beautiful, and perfectly sized. The shop is stocked with treats and party stuff too. Really great communication and product. Highly recommend!!

we were passing through old saybrook from Rhode Island and stopped in for a treat. we had our toddler and newborn with us and everyone in the shop was so sweet and welcoming, it made for the perfect break on our drive. really made our day
