Awful experience! Took forever to take our order and to get served. Not many people there. Home fries are NOT home fries, they are boiled red potatoes. Definitely will not go back and do not recommend

Took too long to get our coffee order in. Then took too much time to get our breakfast order. WAY TOO much time to get our breakfast cold. Boiled potatoes not grilled for home fries that tasted like dirt. Omelette was sloppy. Ingredients piled on side. Waitress was non-attentive to customers. Never asked us anything about food or needs. Set carafe of coffee on the table without pouring the first cup. Omelette cost $21.00 for spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, cheddar with sausage. Gave us the wrong check. Definitely would not recommend. Not worth a return trip.

An absolutely wonderful place to have a hearty breakfast
Pancakes that are actually larger than the plate that they are served in
Staff they could not be any nicer
A huge menu for either lunch or breakfast

I have a gluten allergy and ordered food from here along with other items for people who are not gluten free. Nothing was labeled and I could not tell what items were gluten free, therefore not being able to eat anything I bought.

Update:
We had ordered takeout. We ordered two of the same breakfast burritos — one of which was supposed to be gluten free due to a dietary restriction. Unfortunately, when we got home, we realized there were no labels or markings to indicate which burrito was gluten free.
I called the restaurant and spoke to two different people, but neither was able to identify which one was gluten free either. This was very disappointing, especially considering how important it is for those with allergies and sensitivities to avoid cross-contamination or uncertainty when eating.
I understand mistakes happen, but I hope you can consider better labeling in the future for takeout orders — especially when dietary needs are specified.

Stopped in for breakfast. The dining room is nicely decorated with different tea kettles throughout. Waitstaff was great always appearing at the right moment. I like that I received a full carafe of coffee rather than waiting for a refill. Eggs were cooked to my preference. The home fries did not have seasoning just sautéed in oil.
Will definitely give it another try.

Overpriced for the portions you get 5$ for 2 pieces of bacon and for two people fornsimple breakfast almost 80$. We waited almost 45 minutes to be served when it was pretty dead. Would not recommend

“Walked in at 1:40, not realizing how close to closing it was, and was immediately told they weren’t serving anymore because they ‘close at 2.’ I asked what time it was and was told ‘1:45’ — even though my phone clearly said 1:40. So not only were they turning customers away early, they were exaggerating the time to justify it. If you’re going to post closing hours as 2:00, then be prepared to serve customers until then — not cut it short and act like people are a problem for showing up. This wasn’t the first time I’ve seen staff act this way either. If you want to stop serving early, then post accurate hours — or find a better attitude.”

We were just passing through town and found The Tea Kettle. Walking through the door, the place was clean and the food smelled amazing. The unique menu has so many delicious options! After much deliberation, I opted for the shrimp and grits. I was not disappointed. I will definitely stop here again the next time I'm in the area. Thank you, Emily, for the wonderful service!

Always had a good experience here. During most recent visit, we ordered a dish with sausage gravy…BEST sausage gravy I have EVER had, and I’m an ex-southerner! You can tell they care and make everything fresh.

We came here for Father’s Day after I heard they had gluten free and egg free options. My husband has a gluten allergy and my son has an egg allergy, which can make eating out challenging and sometimes more stressful than it is worth. However, that was not the case at The Tea Kettle our server was amazing and double checked everything. The tomato soup and grilled cheese were as good as they looked.

The best corned beef hash benedict. Their bacon is outstanding and the Bloody Mary will rock your world! All of the servers are friendly and attentive. I went solo but didn't feel alone.

DUDE — the Tea Kettle is top knot h and a truly hidden gem. If you don’t know, you need to know. One look at their menu and your stomach will be growling. They truly have something for everyone — whether you are craving a southern comfort classic breakfast or if you’re on a health kick trying to surplus nutrients and proteins the Tea Kettle has the MOST delicious version of what it is that you need. Best of all is the bar—— I would rate them hands down the BEST Bloody Mary in Middlesex county , they also offer a fantasy of unique and boozy mimosa options and Irish coffees. I would choose Tea Kettle over Christie’s or Mersina’s or the Shack any FKN day and that is really saying something if you know what I mean. The truth is I slept on this place for years. What a shame!!!! Now I will make up for it by singing its praises. The staff and service are the cherry on top—- they love what they do and they do it with pride (and a smile and dry humor).
