Ordered the Chicken and waffles. I'd order it every day, if I wasn't trying to get in shape lol.

5 stars all the way. This place checks all the boxes. We've been wanting to come here for quite a while now and today all the stars were in alignment to make it happen. The menu looked incredible and had all the types of food that we like from Breakfast to the lunch menu. They do close at 2:00pm, so get there early. Tons of GF options, so I had the GF Cali wrap w/ grilled chicken, avocado, and apple smoked bacon. $2 extra for the GF wrap and $2 extra for the waffle fries. The wrap was good, and the waffle fries were better...best I ever had better. The ketchup on the table to compliment the fries is organic. Can't tell you how much I hate seeing ketchup in other restaurants with high fructose corn syrup. The in house made side of slaw and pickles were also very good. Wife had the candied walnut pancake (singular)...but the pancake was bigger than a small to medium size pizza...I kid you not. She said it was very good, just a bit on the sweet side. Coffee was good. This restaurant also has Savy tea. Savy has the best tea. If you've never been there in Madison, Ct. and like tea, Savy is the place to go. The place was very busy on a Monday at 1:00pm. The atmosphere is very comfortable, waitress was sweet and accommodating as well. I was surprised to see that they have a full bar w/ wine, beer, and mixed drinks. They'll even put a little somthin somthin in your milk shake. This is now our new favorite place and can't wait to try other items on the menu.

I have been twice to this place on my way home from Mohegan Sun and Mystic. First time I ordered a lemon poppy blueberry pancacke which lasted me 2 meals! Flavors were great and the pancake itself was good consistency, sometimes they are too hard! Second time I had eggs Benedict on a biscuit with sausage gravy and yum! I had leftovers as well!

Come in on occasion and find the staff to be welcoming and the food to be consistent. Raelynn was my server today and she was very warm and attentive. The biscuit and gravy eggs benedict will not disappoint or try their inventive pancake menu!

This spot has its draw and seems to have earned their loyal clientele. I'm definitely newly committed to hitting the Tea Kettle whenever I'm in the area. With fast, friendly staff and great food you're treated and fed well! I've been tempted to try their beautiful pancake creations but couldn't pass trying a special, Waffle Fry Benny; truly hit the savory spot! A friend had the Greek omelet. It looked amazing and she said it was delicious! All washed down with Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade mimosas and we were celebrating, set and refreshed! Until next time!

My wife and I went on a breakfast date after Christmas. We’d never been here (but since the Little Pub which we like nearby wasn’t open for breakfast so we decide to try the TK). Susan was our server and was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. My wife loved all the gluten-free options available. While we like Cristy’s as well for breakfast, I think the food at the Tea Kettle is better and we will be back and recommend it to others as they visit the Shoreline.

I love ❤️ finding these hidden gems. The food was delicious ? and we had our 3 year old granddaughter in tow. She was entertained and powered through an enormous pancake (ok, as much as her tiny tummy could manage but she enjoyed trying ?). Can't wait to go back again!Kid-friendliness: They were outstanding ?

Perfect breakfast. Some menu items have a southern flare which is nice. Wasn't overly crowded, food cane out quick, and staff was engaging.

This place is so good and I am glad we found them! The wait is a bit longer than most places, but it is worth it! I can see why it takes a bit for the food to come out. It really shows that they are making sure everything is 100%.

We stopped by before heading home to MA. Great food and atmosphere. The meatlovers skillet could have seasoned a bit better. My husband got the Benedict and he liked it. Our server (I think she is a teacher by week day), who I don’t remember her name, was good. Attentive and would update us on the status of the food. And to the guy who paid for our meal out of the blue, thank you. Shows you there are good people out there.
