Wasabi in Orange is always a great experience! The food is consistently fresh and absolutely delicious, with great attention to quality and presentation. The staff are very polite, attentive, and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for fresh, tasty Japanese food eat in or take out, can't go wrong.

This is a very difficult review to write as the food was excellent as was our waitress. At the end of the night our bill was $185 for five of us. Four of us put in $45 cash plus one credit card charge for $45. The waitress came back to our table bringing change which we said no to keep. Then a gentleman came to our table telling us we had only paid $150 in cash. We also spoke to the waitress who said the same thing. We do this every Monday night and never have an issue figuring our bill and leaving a generous tip. They clearly didn’t believe us so we gave them an additional $40 in cash before leaving. Unfortunately what had been a delightful experience ended badly and we will not be back.

I had the spicy shrimp roll and the mushroom tempura roll with salad. The wonton soup is really good. I think the wontons are made with a Chinese rice wine-cured sausage and shrimp. It’s different than any I’ve ever had and I love it. I’m a regular at lunch. The green tea is genmaicha, a toasted brown rice and tea blend. It’s nutty, aromatic and delicious. The salad dressing is kewpie mayonnaise based rather than a carrot ginger base like most places. It’s VERY umami, so I ask for it on the side. I also asked for the sauce for the mushroom roll on the side and they’re very accommodating. The staff is very friendly, and the seating area is decorated with lovely wood screens and traditional Japanese prints. The only thing is, sometimes the fried items don’t settle too well, and the chicken teriyaki is a tad too salty for me, but I give 5 stars with this caveat.

This is my favorite sushi restaurant hands down, I’ve been going here for years and remain loyal even though it’s no longer local to me. My favorite rolls are the Naruto, dragon, Godzilla, and wasabi rolls. They have something for everyone there.

Best sushi restaurant in the area and it’s not even close. Grace, the owner, is such a sweetheart. She and her whole staff care so much and it shows throughout the whole experience from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. Have tried many of the items on the menu and everything was fantastic, every time. AND the prices are right!! Would give them higher than 5 stars if I could!

Went here for a casual lunch, owns right at 11 and quickly had several tables seated, food came out promptly. Tea and soup were fresh and hot. And the cost for 2 was right at $35. Very great new favorite lunch spot!
