Very low quality ice cream, read the ingredients. Tastes too sweet and artificial.

This ice cream shop is the perfect spot for a delightful after-dinner treat or an exciting first date! With an incredible variety of delicious options, you'll discover countless flavors to explore. Personally, I think the German chocolate ice cream is absolutely the best choice!

Have been coming here for years. The line can be long and intimidating at first, but it moves quickly. Ice Cream is the best around. It is made fresh daily and you can even see the cows that the milk came from if that is your thing (fun for kids?). They always have specials and post them on Facebook whenever a new one comes out while also posting what is left from their previous specials. You can get your favorites from them in pints or half gallons to take home. They often do special treats with ice cream like gingersnap ice cream sandwiches, apple cider donuts, and pies. Their ice cream cakes are just as good as their ice cream and usually our go to for birthdays. In the winter time, they open up the indoor area so you can eat your ice cream in the warmth and in front of the fire even. Open from Spring until Christmas, this is a must for anyone local to CT or just visiting the area. So much more can be said, but I'll keep this "short". I will always come back here and stay tuned for future photos of my favorite specials.

Dietary restrictions: They have sugar free and Dairy Free options.

Parking: Lots of parking. Handicap accessible as well. They expand the parking to their field during the busy summer months.

Kid-friendliness: It is a dairy farm so lots of fun and cool things for kids to see and do while they wait for their ice cream.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicap parking that is right near the main entry way. When the indoor is open, booths have an end seat available for a wheel chair and center tables have easily movable chairs.

Ice cream options are spectacular! Nice scenic area and love the cows! A little unsettling people walking around with their pets while enjoying a sweet treat.

I remember the first time my dad ever took me to Rich’s farm for ice cream. It was a place where families went together. No cell phones, no distractions. You’d see your friends there you’d see your neighbors. You’d have a great conversation while you waited in a line that you didn’t care how long it was because you were surrounded by good people and the reward of a delicious ice cream not only awaited you, but the next new conversation.

They opened July 3 1994 and always had American 🇺🇸 country pride ever since.

I continue to visit this dairy farm with my children to this day. The quality of their ice cream as well as their people has never changed!

This is the only ice cream place that myself and my family support. They are truly a staple in the Oxford and surrounding communities where families still gather and wait in the long lines because the juice is worth the squeeze.

Thank you for 30+ years of bringing our family together as well as our community.
