An excellent place to eat high quality food. High quality service. High quality atmosphere only a little bit more expensive than your standard place. Definitely worth every penny

We were met upon our arrival by the host and escorted to our booth in a timely manner. Our waitress was very attentive in a polite way... The food and sides were delicious. We will be returning for sure.

went there 2 times, both times the service was horrible...extremely slow and rude. food was TERRIBLE. charged me $60 for a so called filet mignon steak, which was paper thin and tough. all of the food was over cooked. will never go back there again.

Went twice. Both times, the service was extremely slow. Wait staff very rude. Waited 50 minutes just for drinks. Paid $60 for a so-called filet mignon steak, which was paper thin and tough. All of our food was over cooked, each time. Do not recommend it.

Service was superb, food not so much, bland, clumpy cheese, big hunks of minimally cooked tomato, meat difficult to find. Started out okay, became loud, dark. Not returning

The service was great, the atmosphere pleasant, and the food was delicious! Only minor issue was parking, but that really can't be helped. Would definitely go back!

Hoofs offers a "consistency" and "quality" across the board. The kitchen more than satisfies with both their nostalgic Italian Sunday Sauce, authentic Italian inspired dishes and creative specials for those that like to dine out of the box. Libations are equally interesting and for those that are serious about their cocktails. They know how to make a mean Bees Knees or Sidecar. If you've never heard of either most folks haven't. But if you enjoy a taste of history you won't be disappointed with either. Hoofs is certainly reminscent of those well established, yet hidden gems tucked away on a side street in NYC's Little Italy. Good times. Friendly folks. Great food.

Our favorite restaurant downtown! The food and drinks are consistently great! The staff is friendly and attentive. Our go-to for date night, celebrations or just a fantastic night out!
Sauces had little flavor, especially the marslla, which is supposed to have flavor. Very loud, even at 5:30 The price would be reasonable, if the food was more tasteful. The service was poor, as s former waitress, I can say we were checked on once.
Mussels were great, cocktails were also great. Highly recommend.

I had heard a lot of good things about Hoofs. We started off with appetizers. My husband had the Oysters Rockefeller which were good but the muscles were small. I had a Caesar Salad which I would say was okay. We both had the Shrimp Scampi which lacked flavor. They gave you plenty of shrimp but I don't think the fish even had garlic in it. When we mentioned this to the waiter he said “I smelled the garlic when I was bringing your dishes over”. Really? Maybe we'll give it another try but not in the near future.. When you have to salt your food you know it lacks flavor

Service is always great and the drinks are good. The food is good, albeit pricey for what it is. I didn't care for my meal, but I attribute that to my choice and it just wasn't for me. My wife and son enjoyed their food.

Hoofs has always been a favorite of ours. This past visit, we were disappointed that there was no home made hummus that usually comes with the bread. In addition, we felt the prices had gone way up compared to previous visits. The food was very good,as usual, but with the current prices we won't be going as often as we were previously. $45 for a scallop dish.
