The beef cheek dumplings and oysters were superb. The sword fish (special that night) and summer fettuccini were delicious. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with art work for sale on the walls. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. Checked in on us often. Highly recommended.

Owl & Dove offers a wonderful menu filled with unique dishes that are fresh and delicious. The new ownership is fine-tuning the experience while keeping a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Guests have enjoyed the clam chowder, which ranks among the best, and the local tomato salad, praised for its fantastic flavors. The enormous burrito and outstanding kale salad remain favorites, with recent visitors highlighting the beef cheek dumplings, known for being exceptionally tender and flavorful. The creativity of the menu shines through with options like Asparagus Niçoise salad and Caesar salad with fried smelt, as well as delicious entrées like hanger steak over risotto and chicken schnitzel. The restaurant also features a tempting dessert selection, including bread pudding and Beignets, although some found the latter to be dry.
Service is exceptional, with friendly and prompt staff, although some customers noted that it can be slow at times. The beautiful interior and calming view of the Pawcatuck River create a great setting for meeting friends and family. Prices are fair, reflecting the quality and creativity of the dishes.
