We were looking forward to a great meal, unfortunately we were underwhelmed with the food we ordered. The Chicken Oscar was not good, the sauce was confusing did not taste like Francese, mash potatoes were watery so much sauce on the plate it was swimming. No favor the dish ingredients do not work well together. Felt rushed waiter kept stopping by table seemed like every 5 minutes. Unfortunately will not go back to many great Italian restaurants in RI.
I had the pleasure of dining at Hoof's Thursday evening. This fresh new Italian Bistro was exceptional, start to finish. Brian greeted me at the door and placed me in Lou's station at the bar. Nick came out of the kitchen to welcome me and my experience was off to a great start. The menu selections were clearly stated, ledgeable and precise. The vibe was so cool, music, decor, space and comfort were spot on. I had a fresh pasta dish with shitake mushrooms and pancetta...
Ventured across the border from RI to check this place out 🚙 Heard from a reliable source that they have a great chicken parm 🍝 Bartender Kyle recommended the Rhode Island Clam Chowder as a starter 🥣 It was excellent 👌 The chicken parm absolutely hit the spot 🎯 Can’t wait to go back and try the pork chop 😋
