We dined here a weekend ago with about 6 ppl in total in our party. The food was OK.. the appetizers were very good. The menu selection was different and I appreciate that about restaurants but... What i didn't like is that when ordering steak, if you order a medium rare steak you expect it to be just that. Not a slab of raw meat"literally" When telling the sever that it was not cooked correctly she told me that this is the way the chef prepares her steaks? and...

I've been going to The Cottage since they opened years ago. Patty is one of the most talented Chef's out there. The food is always amazing. Dave will take great care of you and Mom makes the best Cosmo's around!!

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the town of Plainville CT. The restaurant is a family owned and run. We were deer just yesterday some grating our birthdays and looking at this summer Menu, it's not disappointing at all. Everything on the menu looks delicious ,ordering will not disappoint you at all ,the chef is brilliant in her creativeness.
