Don’t really care if the food is good or not … $25 for raviolis is insanity…. It’s pasta…..

Stopped in there on a Saturday night. I had Chicken Milanese with a side of broccoli rabe which was cooked perfectly! My wife loved her meal as well. I’m looking forward to going back again just for that meal.

Thank you to Curtis and his Staff for hosting a Luncheon for our dad. Our dad's favorite restaurant in the New Britain area.
The staff was attentive and excellent.
The food was delicious and well prepared.
Thank you again First and Last Tavern.

I’ve been here 3 times and every time it’s super bad service. This time was the worst, all 6 of us were sat ready for food and drinks and no one came for 30 minutes. It was embarrassing with family visiting from out of state. I even asked the hostess to please get a server and no one came, we all walked out and told the hostess why we were leaving and she couldn’t care any less. I had a sudden realization that the food is very bland and there is no reason to keep trying to come back. Bartender ladies seem entitled with a bad attitude and you have to deal with all of this just to get a mid level drink.

Former employee here, I would start of by saying avoid this place like the plague- cause it actually is! They encourage workers to come work with the flu, I can even recall conversations about them bragging about workers who worked with covid in the past. They terminate workers who get sick and they violate food protocols. I don't think I seen anyone follow hand washing techniques I learned at other restaurants, so keep in mind the person washing your food isn't using gloves and hasn't washed properly. Eat at your own risk. The place also really has a bad fruit fly problem, and the ac in the kitchen is broke so often while prepping meals the food tends to go bad, even had coworkers complaining about dripping sweat INTO the food. No clue how the place is still open. It isn't right. Overpriced poison that I would barely eat for free.

Decent place. Food was good. Pretzel bites were a little bit greasy. Proper service. Good mixed drinks.

Service started off a little rocky, waitress didn’t not come to the table quick enough and we had to get up and ask for utensils. With that being said the food was amazing, we really enjoyed the wings(better than across the street), the Cajun burger and Ragun Cajun pasta were all amazing. Will be back for sure.

The pear salad is delicious and so is the pizza! Beautiful outdoor patio with plenty of shade for our dog. Excellent and friendly service! A great find as we were driving a 10 hour road trip home. Would definitely stop again!
