Tall worker, brunette hair, on 2/6/25 took my order over the phone, cashed me out over the phone, and added a 20% tip without my consent :( normally i tip since i am in the industry, but this is just unacceptable. 😢 thankfully i checked my online banking app and noticed the charge because she attached the original receipt to my bag. unbelievable…

Pretty good. Waffles fries a great. Lots of toppings for your hot dog, loveeee the self service. The chili is good but not the best
I ordered a fried clam strip platter to takeout. The online menu said the price was $11.99. When I went to pick it up she charged me $18.00. I told her what the online menu said but her answer was that the owner hadn't gotten around to changing it yet. If I had known it was that much, I wouldn't have ordered it. I won't go back

Being new to Connecticut, I wanted to try this place for a while. Natives told me that they make a great hotdog. I don't know what happened, but my food was not good at all. Bland. The chili on the hotdog was gross and had weird spices in it that don't belong in chili. The cheeseburger was disappointing because it was not seasoned and the vegetables were not fresh. On top of that I paid almost $17 and I had to add my own ketchup and mustard and other condiments myself. Curly fries were ok, but still disappointing. I will not be returning. I will be searching elsewhere for my chili dog place. If anyone reading this gets a chance to go to Duchess, they make a great chili dog. Unfortunately they aren't anywhere near Farmington. I advise to stay away from this place. Staff was great, having to add my own condiments was not, and the food was horrible.

Hours posted are until 8:30pm on Monday nights. I got there just before 8pm and they were closed, lights off doors locked with a hand written sign in window that they're closing at 8pm. I won't be coming back here again.

If you want a hot dog or burger, have at it but shy away from other fried food selections as they're either overdone or not cooked long enough.

First real burger I’ve had in a few years. Sat well with me to. Like a home style burger with real ingredients you can easily feel good eating. Fries were also amazing. No burnt oil taste and so crisp. Sweet hot relish is great too. Again homestyle stuff your granny would have made

So so…. Waterbury location and food is much better.
I remwber Frankie when they were over by Tunxis college but they moved to southington years ago. I had been in long while. Although tge service was fast the food was poor quality. I didnt even finish my hotdog with meat sauce and although the curly fries where not as seasoned as I would have liked they were ok but the hotdog so disappointed. I probly won't return. Oh well another childhood fav ruuned.

Always yummy!
Very classic food done at a reasonable price. The chili dogs have a slight kick to them and the dog itself is wonderfully snappy and well seasoned. They have free arcade games here which kept my kiddo interested. Looking forward to coming back.
