I got the chili as a starter. It was really good, super meaty with just a nice little
Kick of heat on the backend followed by a double smash burger and some curly fries. The curly fries were your typical curlies, cooked properly, which means they were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The burger though? The burger was so flavorful, juicy and delicious, that I took all the other things off of it (lettuce, tomato, pickles and bread) because they were actually taking away from the flavor of the burger. Good place to go if you’re in Plainville and J Tim’s is packed.

I normally never post negative reviews, I only do when absolutely necessary. I was disappointed (again), and the quality is headed downhill. We used to go regularly when it was Hop Haus, so we decided to give it a couple of shots. The first time was just ok, but you had just switched over. But this time, it was just disappointing. Walked in to find no waitstaff on the floor, so stood there for a couple of minutes until the bartender came back out. Then waited another 5 before our waitress showed up, because nobody told her we were there, but where was she? I ordered a chicken sandwich that was supposed to have coleslaw on it. It had no slaw because the kitchen ran out and didn't say anything until I brought it to her attention. Not only that, but it was clearly a frozen, pre-shaped patty, which is a drastic change from the real fried chicken breast you used to serve. There was someone who looked like a manger who seemed to be more interested in hanging out with a table of his friends. No wonder it was dead on a Saturday at 630. Sorry, but that's the last time we'll be going.

We went here thinking it was still the Hop Haus but decided to give it a try since we were already there. The place looks decent and lots of TVs if that’s what you are looking for . If you are looking for good food or good service this would not be the place . I’m actually writing this as I lay on my couch wondering if I have food poisoning. The quality is terrible and the presentation is sad like it’s trying to warn you not to eat it. As for the service….loud obnoxious and inappropriate conversations taking place and definitely not industry veterans.

I like that even though they have the TVs it's not overpoweringly loud. The place invites you to be involved during the week. They have bands come from time to time. Quizzes. And the food is great too. Price is decent

Parking: Parking is behind it. The left street after you pass the restaurant you'll see the parking area. You have to walk between the buildings to go back to the business. It's brick paved and can be bumpy if you're in a chair. But it is capable.

Went to get a late dinner with five friends and was happy to see there were very few people inside. Maybe 3 or 4 people at the bar and at most three tables. Sat down and got menus and placed drink orders. Noticed there was only one (1) server for the floor, but two staffers behind the bar. Waited a good 25 minutes for the drinks while the one (1) server was bussing multiple tables and cleaning. The two behind the bar were chatting with each other and not helping at all. Finally the one (1) server brought drinks and took food order. Waited almost 45 minutes for the food and two orders came out wrong. Called the one (1) server over to bring to her attention and one of the two behind the bar came over and was waving her hands and tone of voice suggested we were wrong about the two bad orders and was very impolite. The only saving grace about the experience was the server. She handled herself very professionally and politely. We will certainly think twice about going back.

An absolute tradey. I felt like I lost a loved one with the change in the food here. The burgers used to be one of the best I've had, full of flavor and so big you couldn't fit your mouth around it. This new burger tasted of nothing but BBQ sauce and bread and was the same size as a McDonald's dollar menu hamburger, with a third the amount of fries to top it all off. I was supposed to have jalapeños in my burger, and it had only ONE slice of the butt end of a jalapeño in it. I've never experienced such a rapid decline in the quality of food in only a month. We had to go to Popeyes afterward because we were still hungry even after eating all the food. They could have easily just raised the prices a bit instead of cheaping out on the food. There also seem to be a bunch of new staff, and service was slow. But I do not blame the servers at all for that. I really hope the owner reads this to realize that many people will no longer eat the food here and will lose a lot of business. Please bring the old menu back!
