I've usually enjoyed J. Timothy's. However, my latest visit was a bit of a disappointment. The fish in my fish and chips was bland and tasteless. It didn't seem like it was seasoned at all to be honest. More worryingly, the wings, which are usually heavenly, were overcooked. In the past, moist meat slid off the bone and effortlessly melted in my mouth. Alas, during my most recent visit, I was chewing burnt bits of dry chicken. Perhaps it was just a fluke, but I'd hoped they'd have better quality control.

Went here last night to see what the hype was. In my opinion; are they the best wings? No. Are they the most crispy sauced wings? Yes. Absolutely the best blue cheese I’ve had that complimented the sauce. The tater tot poutine however was phenomenal. A cheese pull in every bite. Dare I say it was better than what I had in Canada. Lastly, the Harry’s Butterbeer drink was so good I wish I had more! My only gripe was I was told it was going to be a 45 min wait, I left my phone number to be texted. I wound up waiting almost an hour and a half and never got a text. Apparently their system glitched and said it sent, but was not the case. I however was seated immediately after explaining the situation.

Ordered 30 wings, one entree , French onion soup, and buff cauliflower.
Everything was exactly as we ordered it, order was ready on time, food was excellent, and soup traveled really well for takeout French onion, which is hard to pull off.
Highly recommend the takeout if you cannot dine in.

Went there for the double fried wing because of a tiktok my wife saw. They were good, not a crispy as I was thinking they would be. Not many flavors, just normal buffalo. Chicken tenders are nothing special. Would eat there again if I was out that way.

What happened to Jtims ? We walk in and it smells like a toilet. We go upstairs order wings and got to hear all about how things don’t get done when a certain waitress takes a day off. Our wings arrive and the flavor was so off, they were slimy and there was almost no crispy . Not returning

J Timothy is a long time favorite. I used to work in the area and now come back with friends because the food is delicious, the service is good and the atmosphere is great. Our grandson was amazed by the place and the history.

All wings should be cooked dirty!!! Def my new favorite way of eating wings. Buffalo was good not too spicy. Upstairs and downstairs seating with room at the bar. Food and drinks came out really quickly even with the place packed. Great service from Tory!! Will definitely be back. Came all the way from Norwalk.
