The bakery In.Plainville is horrible.The the help is very rude. The food is stale.But the one in Hartford is a completely different bakery.They're very nice.The food is very good.I know It is owned by the same person, but run very differently.

I can’t believe I had never visited this bakery before, but better late than never. The staff was super nice and let us take our time to look through the cookies and decide what we were going to pick. We’ve totally fallen in love with this bakery I already can’t wait to go back!

Terrible treatment by the owner of this buisness!After over 10 years of being a loyal customer, I was treated with such disrespect and disregard.All my husband wanted for his birthday was a vanilla cake with raspberry mousse. Easy enough!Unfortunately, we received a chocolate cake with raspberry mousse. No one likes chocolate cake in our house, so I called to notify them the cake was wrong. We weren’t angry, we just simply wanted what we ordered.They again remade the cake but this time with raspberry jam and a lot of it.Hate complaining but again, just wanted what we ordered. That’s all.The owner called me back and suggested I come in for a refund and take my business elsewhere.I have been a loyal customer since moving to Plainville for all of our cakes. I have never complained. In this instance, we just simply wanted what we paid for. I received no apology from the owner. In fact, he told me I ordered a cake incorrectly by saying vanilla instead of white cake. Somehow, I got chocolate though.Moving forward, I will warn all of my friends and family to stay far away from this bakery. The owner was nasty, took no accountability and ultimately had zero respect for someone that has patronized his buisness for years.

There cakes are not the greatest. There cannoli cake was dry and it had chocolate in the center never had that before . There are better bakery's elsewhere and they are over priced . Also the manger he is not very professional he is very rude

Mozzicato's used to be my favorite Italian bakery for cookies. From 2021 to 2023, I frequently ordered a pound of Italian cookies, and they were primarily delicious, although a few were stale, they were still a big hit at my house. However, a few days ago, in January 2024, I decided to order some Italian cookies again, and this time, they were awfully stale and tasted like soap. It was almost as if the cookies were sitting out for weeks, absorbing whatever cleaning products or chemicals/soaps were in the air. I know this is disgusting and probably too much information, but I had to spit the cookies out because they were that grotesque. It was disappointing, to say the least, and a waste of money. I am no longer going to buy from this place.
