I find Rob's kitchen to have a "Homey" feeling to it. The waiters and waitresses always make me feel like I'm part of their family in the way they treat me.The food is contemporary with a Mexican flair to it. I'm unfamiliar with most Mexican cuisine so I usually sample the menu and "Today's" specials. I have to say that the food is amazing and I think of Rob's place as somewhere to go when I want to indulge myself in some quality time and food

Thank you to Robs in plainville. Great service very nice team to see working together in the kitchen. Tasty food no issues with anything. Everything was fresh and on point. The prices reflect the food portions and the kind staff even help if you don't understand something on the menu. They have freshly made cookies and the coffee tastes great. They have a secret menu that is very authentic and fun to try. We will keep coming back.

Food was not good. It was cold due to the order being prepared incorrectly the first time. Asked for no onion in home fries, there were onions in home fries. There is minimal seating in the restaurant, so it gets very cramped, very quickly. You can sit outside, in summer. Service was good, food is enough to stop me from coming back.

Support Small Business! This was my first time visiting Rob's Kitchen for breakfast. It appears to be family owned. The service and food were great. I like that you have the old school traditional food option and Mexican food option. We had the Mexican breakfast, which was delicious. My wife and I also ordered food to go for my teens. They gave it a thumbs up at home. Enjoy!

The burrito was unmemorable, and very bland. For a burrito with more than 5 ingredients, the only one you can taste is the chorizo. Home fries were great tho and seasoned. Service was fast and prompt. Inside is small, I can't imagine how it is during peak hours.

The best omg so cute stopped in and didn't regret it the servers are so nice. And honestly the food killed it some of the best pancakes I've ever had and trust me I like pancakes. They didn't mess an order up once and the place started to get packed but for the most part it's a gem just because it's small doesn't mean it deserves to be forgotten.
Great little breakfast spot. Tiny place with not a ton of seating so come early to avoid the wait!

Stopped here after an appointment and it's a little small inside. 7 tables & 2 servers. Ok. Waited a little longer than a bit to take coffee order. No oatmilk or nondairy option. Then waited quite a bit to get coffee. Placed our order w the coffee order for obvious reasons. Didn't get the food yet.. I hope it's worth the wait. Ok. So food arrived. Not really unreasonably late, either. Food was good enough. Eggs maybe a little runny for over medium -but I'm knit picking now. Overall a solid breakfast choice. Service was just a little slow at the start. I'll try them again another day and hopefully up my stars:)
