I've only done pickup so far but I plan on dining in soon. It's beautiful inside. Great date night potential. Best gen tsos in town. The hibachi meals are really top notch. Everything is tasty and portions are plentiful. Give it a try you won't regret it.

I love this place!!! I’ve dined in before and the service is so friendly and quick! The Thai iced tea is literally to die for as well as their crab Rangoon appetizer! I definitely recommend dining in but the best part is even ordering out is phenomenal! I’ve ordered out quite a few times and it’s always consistent. It’s the same quality and quantity as if you dined in (which most restaurants lack unfortunately) but Shogun is right on the money every time! I’ve had the shrimp hibachi dinner, the steak and now the salmon and I couldn’t pick a favorite… everything is all great! The food and cost are perfect and I highly recommend them!! Glad Plainville has this nice spot now!

If your looking for hibachi with the no fuss of actually watching the guy cook it in front of you, this is the place for you! Friendly service, great portions, decent price. Def recommend trying. It was our 1st time here and we ordered the Shogun Emperor's Deluxe (for 2). Lobster, filet mignion, scallops, shrimp, fried rice, noodles. Its saucy, fresh, and delish! Will def be coming back.
Such AMAZING service. I went for a birthday party with 7 people. The staff moved some tables around for us all. Our server was very quick, and extremely pleasant. They even surprised the birthday girl with free dessert!All of the food that we got was absolutely delicious. And the portion sizes were great especially for the price. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Great food, great service. The crab rangoon is the best you'll find in the area. All of the appetizers and meals are made very well. It's also BYOB which is nice if you're having a meal with friends or a loved one and want to have a drink. There's a package store right down the road as well.
