Sharpe hill vineyard is in a league of its own. Their wines represent a true vintage unlike any other CT winery. The tasting room is small but gives the feeling of old New England colonialism. Contrary to other google reviews Sharpe Hill has always been my favorite experience!
What a sad experience we had. Though it was on fathers day last year, the time we had we couldnt forget. The building and location were beautiful, the wine tasty but i warn thee, there was an older lady working there (i think the mother) who kept pestering my family as well as other people around us about their closing time(hours in advance), how many glasses and how much work she had to do. Funky, Eccentrically decorated tasting room gave this vineyard the 1 star... Owner and daughter rushed and pressured our experience even demanding we leave at 2:00 (posted hours were 4:00... would have been nice to have been given an early closing notice when we got there) Gave the wine a subpar taste because of the intrusive, overly chatty hosts... very poor customer service. Hoping Spring will improve their attitudes...
