I ordered this cake online and the only instructions I gave was my son was coming home from the army and asked for a red white and blue theme and I left it up to them not only is this cake delicious they went above and beyond my expectations my solider was super happy and so was I thank you thank you thank you for your excellent service we truly enjoyed it !!! Definitely will be ordering again

This is my local ice cream shop and I come here very often! Usually service is great and there are no issues however today 10/20/24 at around 8 pm I walked in with a party of six and received poor service.. was not even greeted. The blonde girl that was pretending to wash a bowl over and over kept her back turned to us and did not acknowledge us at all.. until another employee came up and asked us if we needed help..
thank you to the kind young lady that did help us however I believe that all employees should have the same energy, especially when it was not busy in the parlor at all.. we were the only customers at the time. A simple greet when walking in changes the atmosphere and experience.

Ice cream was delicious as in the past. My husband and daughter really enjoyed their ice cream and couldn't believe how much they got. They think The Big Dipper is the best.

It was a bit busy there. To me, that means it's a popular spot. Great ice cream choices ? and they let you try before you buy. It's pumpkin season and they had some yummy choices. Yes I tried many. I got a Big Dipper Sunday it was fully loaded with deliciousness. Staff was quick to get to everyone and happy to do so. We will be back soon.

Truly some of the very best ice cream you'll try. I personally find anything made with their house vanilla to be delightful.
UPDATE: This is the very best ice cream spot in this state. Many come close, but none hit like Big Dipper. I find myself continually returning. I've tried flavors like Double Oreo, cookie dough, chocolate peanut butter, cookie monster, peppermint stick and many others. We've ordered their ice cream cakes for birthdays and enjoyed a variety of their ice cream sandwiches. They have offered Maple Creemees as well. There's no place like Big Dipper.
The staff is so friendly and helpful even when the line is to the door. The space is clean and nostalgic.
You need to try this.

Family friendly ice cream shop, has cakes, ice cream cookies to go and some pints and quarts available as well. Variety of flavors that changes regularly/often. The double oreo is delicious.
