“What a great meal! Came here because we were on the way to get donuts at Brooklyn Baking Co and missed their breakfast timing - so glad we did! Had the Irish Benny - AMAZING corned beef hash, perfect eggs and sauce!!! Fluffy pancakes too and my boyfriend enjoyed the waffles - "real syrup and fresh, fresh fruit!" Owner is super friendly as is the staff and we had just a great experience ... what a find! Definitely putting this on our come back again soon list!!!”

“The Big Dipper!! Currently reigns my favorite ice cream parlor in CT! This hidden gem is to die for! Their flavors are so intriguing and the thickness of the ice cream is perfection!! “It was our first time visiting Mirabelles, and it did not disappoint. Upon entering the establishment we were immediately greeted by Dom, the owner of the restaurant, who kindly sat us at the bar as we requested. The atmosphere was very welcoming - We honestly compared the vibe to Goodfellas/Encore in New Haven, except more casual and easy-going, if that makes sense. We ordered the New York strip steak and the Veal Sorrentino and both dishes were *chef's kiss*. The only thing better than the food were the drinks. I highly recommend the espresso martini. Overall, we definitely will be visiting again - good food, great drinks, and amazing service.”

“Visited this place for the first time. I will preface by saying I haven't had his Mexican restaurant food in a long time. Enjoyed the fajitas which were flavourful and well-spiced but was disappointed by the mole enchiladas which had chocolate on them and were more sweet than (as I expected) spicy.The spicy margaritas (they have 2 different kinds) were excellent, and if you want a sweet kind, they have multiple choices as well (strawberry, passionfruit -- both nice).For dessert, lava cake and banana cheesecake (I know, right?) were actually delectable.The prices for Mexican food have gone up tremendously, and I was surprised to be paying $13 a drink and $20 a plate in general.All in all, Senor Pancho's is perfect for someone craving conventional Mexican food.Parking: Free parking lotKid-friendliness: Family friendly, with high chairs and kid-friendly options”

“I have been here 5 times now both pick up and sit down. The food has been amazing and the atmosphere is great. The inside is very very clean. I do not like writing negative reviews however the service in person is great but over the phone 1 star would be to much. Both times i ordered over the phone it was very very rushed and I could hardly get a question in. This most recent time the phone call was so rushed and with the language barrier we misunderstood each other. I know that can happen and it is what it is. When i showed up i noticed my order had additional items that i did not ask for. When I told the gentleman i did not ask for them I got the worst attitude and he got so mad. When i said I'm not sure what happened but sorry he snapped at me saying I should have listened better. Normally I would have said whatever and taken the additional items if they are small however it was 3 more things of ramen. I still tipped 20% because maybe he was having a bad day and not tipping is just rude. When he came back after he removed the other items my food was basically thrown at me. I didn't check it and when i got home one of the lids was off and half of the broth leaked out. I was really enjoying a ramen place being so close and i was sending all my friends there. However reguardless of how good their dumplings are i may just drive the extra 20 minutes somewhere else.”

“My son and I tried PolishPlate for the first time this evening. Let me tell you, this place is amazing. My son ordered the Smoked Salmon Potato Pancakes and I had the Stuffed cabbage (ground chicken with a mushroom gravy), Kielbasa, Pierogi and Beets. Everything was delicious! The staff was very friendly and polite. We will definitely be back and soon!”

“This was my first time having Costa Rican food, and I was thoroughly impressed! As soon as we walked in, service was friendly and welcoming. I went to wash my hands, and the restroom was immaculate. In terms of the food, everything was fresh and flavorful. I got the Chiflijos, which is fried crispy pork belly with rice, beans, avocado, pico de gallo, and tortilla chips. My girlfriend got the Casado which was stewed chicken with rice, beans, sweet plantains, beet/potato salad, and a fried egg on top. The serving sizes were generous and great for the price. When it came to dessert, we couldn't decide between the pistachio cake and the cassava cake. We ultimately decided on the Cassava Cake, but our server also gave us a small piece of the pistachio cake to try. So kind of her. The pistachio cake was sweet, with a tender crumb, but not cloyingly sweet. The cassava cake was the real star! Served warm, with notes of earthy cassava, coconut, and a caramelized top, it was the perfect way to end our meal. We wish them much success, and would love to return to try more things on the menu.”

“This is by far the best pizza in southington ct! When we moved here, we were looking for good pizza in Southington and we stumbled upon them. Not only were they the closest pizza near me in southington, they were out favorite after trying a few. The owners are so so sweet too. Try their chicken parm, salads and grinders as well. Really great bang for your buck too!”

“Living so close to Sultan’s and driving by for over a decade, I always wondered what it was like. We finally went for dinner and the belly dancing show, and our expectations were exceeded! Everything was absolutely incredible here - their menu is huge, the staff was knowledgeable about the food and very friendly, and the food came out quickly despite how packed they were with multiple large parties. I thought the lamb kofte was so tender and perfectly cooked. You have to order the mixed cold dips platter too! The belly dancing show was so fun to watch, and we had such a great time that we decided to bring my grandfather here 2 weeks later for his birthday. All we can say is we can’t believe we hadn’t visited sooner! We will definitely be regulars now.”

“Maybe off the beaten path and a no frills location but TOP NOTCH BBQ. First time trying Roysters but will not be our last. Some of the best BBQ I have had in CT. We tried nearly every meat and side available (Brisket, Pulled Pork, Beef Ribs, Pork Ribs, and Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage plus both cornbreads, smoked mushrooms, baked beans mac n cheese and coleslaw). Every bite was fantastic! Excellent smoke rings and nice bark, great spice to the BBQ sauce. You gotta give it try if in the area. Keep it up Brian, it was nice meeting you Sat. “I am a teacher at a local elementary school and went to lunch here with my colleagues on our professional development day. I had planned to order an omelette as I have a gluten allergy, but didn’t realize that breakfast hours had ended. Although breakfast had ended, the gentleman at the counter was kind enough to put in my order. My Western omelette was delicious and I am so impressed with their customer service!
