We met the owner and he treated us like family. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable. It had a nostalgic feel and there was a large room for big parties or events. All the food was excellent, but you gotta get the meatballs. They are award winning for a reason!
Mirabelle's is one of my favorite Italian spots around the Prospect/Waterbury area. The chef learned how to cook in Italy and it shows! Never a disappoint here. The veal is to die for! (you can hear them pounding it in the basement once you order)
Had a great meal tonight as did my
friend and my sister. We each ordered a different entree and were happy with all of them. Service was prompt and friendly. The owner, Don, was cordial and entertaining. The portions were large, and I’ll be enjoying the leftovers tomorrow. This restaurant succeeds on all levels. A hidden gem! We’ll be back!
