The Kitchen in Prospect Bar and Grill

I used to come here all the time when it was The Kitchen, it was easily my favorite place, the food was great no complaints. However, I went recently to check it out and it was completely different. Uninviting, service was awful ( it wasn’t busy) army burger was RAW & it just wasn’t the same. I truly miss how it used to be and hope it goes back.

Greasiest burger I've ever had. Asked for medium well, I got raw and greasy. The bread was too soggy in grease and fell apart. The one star is for mixing rum with coke. I couldn't eat the food it was dripping grease and not good.

We ordered Campanella with chicken and a cod sandwich. The pasta dish was absolutely tasteless, the cod was a second away from being charred as were the chips. Disgusting food at outrageous prices. I should have been warned as it was lunch time and no cars. There was one person at the bar and us.

Nice quiet place. Good food and drinks. Love to do a quick date lunch with the hubby here. Always enjoy the food here!

We really like this place but tonight the bar had underage people sitting at the counter, with their feet up actually on top of the bar! Aside from that, one girl kept repeating how she was underage (We know this because they verbally said how they can get vodka in their Shirley Temples while they’re under age). They were friends of the owners son, which the bartender kept mentioning. It was incredibly disappointing since I’ve been a patron and always tell people to go here. Now seeing how the owners don’t care, I’m just sad for this small business.
