It's a small business, but I know it's reputation. That's why it is worth the wait! I first found out about them when they served Phyllis's Bakery Pastries at the Book Lovers Gourmet in Webster. Then I had to go because of all the delicacies she had. And I was not disappointed. I would go again and again and again to get my pastries and their chocolate eclairs are wonderful.

When I was a trainer for Ames Dept. Store over 20 years ago I was in charge of putting together an employee party (of sorts) for Thanksgiving. I was given a tight budget and started doing my research when eventually I found Phyllis's. I called her up and after some quick pricing and questions answered I went to her place and placed this very big order for a ridiculously reasonable price. I grew up in the restaurant business so I was familiar with some of what she was doing for us and usually what goes into the making of the items I ordered. Anyway, we got a ton of very delish food, dessert, Coffee & Tea (iced and hot) and all were very happy and very full at the end. Since I have used her to cater weddings, 50th anniversaries and I've also used her for many other family parties and even when I'm just feeling too lazy to cook!! I can't say enough about this place and Phyllis. Always so pleased. She really hooked me when I tasted her potato salad and her scones. If you've never been, visit and have some pastry, you won't be sorry.

We got there around 2 PM, as an apple pie was coming out of the oven. Gorgeous crust, the size of a circus tent. Had an eclair and a pumpkin scone, too, as hiking snacks: both yummy. A friendly scene, too.
