I was here for the 1st time this weekend...purchased a rye loaf, mischbrot loaf, almond/chocolate croissant and a lemon scone. Everything is fresh and delicious! So glad I found Kermit's, will definitely be going back.

I genuinely love coming to Kermit’s Bakery. Every time I go in, I’m greeted with such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The owner is super nice and always takes the time to be kind and make you feel appreciated, which really stands out. You can tell there’s a lot of heart behind everything they make.
Everything I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and made with care. It’s the kind of place that feels special and local, not just another bakery. I always leave happy and usually with more than I planned to buy! Highly recommend supporting this amazing business 😊

Five stars for food category. Why? I am writing this review as i eat kermits miche sourdough bread with butter and three sunnyside up eggs. This is some of the best bread anywhere around here. The cinnamon buns are also AMAZING. I give five stars for service because it is welcoming, quick, and easy. Five stars for atmosphere because it looks and feels like a clean and organized bakery. I also really like the open style kitchen where you can look at all of kermits cool baking gadgets.

THE MOST UNREAL COOKIES AND BREAD!!! OMG!!! chocolate chip cookie right out of the oven almost made me faint it was so good and the olive loaf …. HEAVEN. So grateful this bakery is here 💖💖💖

Astounded - best way I can explain this. I went it this morning and bought a bunch of pastries and croissants which were put into a bag by I assume the owner. When I got home and unpacked them I saw the morning cinnamon buns were black and burnt. Considering these were hand picked by the owner I have to question the fact that he morally even did this. When I called he offered me to drive 30 mins back for a refund or to choose my own and said that he disagrees these are burnt and that was trying to lecture him. No, I am trying not to be ripped off. A completely immoral approach to business and I would never ever go back there. It’s the principle not the money. Serving burnt pastries reflects on the kind of person that makes and serves these. Don’t go there. Way better options in Ridgefield and other nearby towns

GLOWING RECOMMENDATION for Kermit's Bake Shop on Main Street in Georgetown!! Legit, baked on site, amazing pastries!! Flaky butter croissants, crumb cake, "morning bread" which is like a cinnamon croissant popover...was still warm from the oven. Really nice, passionate owner.
