All were delicious, with only a few crumbs remaining. The white and vegetable pizzas were the first to go - and fast. Thank you for a great family dinner!”

Cozy, inviting atmosphere with good food (sandwiches, snacks and pastries) and coffee made on site by talented staff; premium local goods are also available for purchase. Our experience was enhanced by a delightful musician. Not to be missed any time.”

“The family tries to get together at Redding Road House at least twice a year. The place is relaxing the food is good and the service has always been great. I never thought the service could get better until this past weekend when a charming and smiling young lady waited on us. She was always there at the right time always had on an incredible smile and always got our food right for the ten of us. This young lady should train every wait staff member in the world. If you want incredible service ask for Emma.”

“My husband and I tried Bora Restaurant for the first time last night. It was excellent!! The food was delicious, the decorations were beautiful, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, all of the staff that we encountered were young but surprisingly all so very well mannered, polite and very nice!! Our waiter was Alton, he did a wonderful job and always addressed my husband as Sir. We would definitely recommend this restaurant!!”

The food is so flavorful, spiced perfectly, fresh, perfect temperature, aromatic and plentiful. They make the best drinks as well. My favorite is the Ginger Martini which is made fresh per drink. The space was extremely clean, including the bathroom, and the hospitality was amazing. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. They even gave us a little gift, which was such a thoughtful surprise! ❤️

“This was such an adorable place. It felt like a local spot found in the Hallmark movies. Recently had brunch with my daughter at The Sandy Hook Café. It was an absolute delight from start to finish. Nestled in the heart of Sandy Hook, CT this cafe exudes a cozy yet vibrant charm, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing brunch. We chose the booth by the front window box that was sweetly decorated for the holiday. There were couple other booths, a high-top table, and several two/four-top tables. Tiny space but a gigantic, interesting menu. Good for takeout as well. There is a small outdoor seating area overlooking the river. We were greeted by Ralph, the owner/chef. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. He proudly described all of the interesting specials (his own creations) and it was difficult to decide as they all sounded simply wonderful. We went with the blackened eggs benedict with salmon special, and the breakfast burrito. All fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. It’s an inviting space where you can linger over your meal without a care in the world. Sandy Hook Café is a hidden gem that’s worth every penny. I will definitely be becoming a regular.”

“This place is nothing short of amazing. We went on a recommendation of a friend for our wedding anniversary. As soon as we walked in we were treated like family. When they found out it was our anniversary they gave us a glass of champagne. The calamari was incredible. Not oily and so flavorful. The linguini fruit ti di mara was delicious. My wife had the special with clams and mussels and that too was delicious. They constantly checked on us and made us feel so welcome. For dessert we shared a Carrot cake and it was so fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back. Thank you making our anniversary special.”
