Very nice Mexican restaurant

Great Mexican food. This looks like not too much from the outside... just a tiny mexican restaurant attached to a roadside motel. The surprise is in the EATING. Fresh, tasty, well seasoned, delicious. All the typical Mexican dishes are represented. Service was friendly and efficient, not rushed but timely.

Shhh! Don’t tell anyone. The food was outstanding! So was the atmosphere and service. If it weren’t in a Days Inn, I would think this place would have a line out the door. Don’t be fooled. I’d be a regular if I lived in town.

Its first time I came here with my family and the taste was amazing! Everything fresh and the attention 10/10 it was my sister’s birthday and they prepare a small dessert for her as surprise with music and all 😊

Don’t let the location fool you, the restaurant delivers an authentic, vibrant experience that makes it well worth the visit. I had an absolutely amazing experience at Acapulco Grill & Bar! From the moment I sat down, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere is very welcoming, perfect for a casual night out or a fun evening with friends.

The service was friendly and fast, overall enjoyable vibe. Overall excellent drinks and food, this spot is a must-visit!

Acapulco Grill & Bar happens to share the same address as the hotel on Ethan Allen Highway, but it is an independent restaurant with no affiliation to the hotel. Do not let the location fool you—this place delivers a truly authentic Mexican dining experience that deserves to be recognized on its own.

From the moment you step inside, you are welcomed with genuine warmth. The dim lighting and authentic décor create a cozy atmosphere, and the illuminated bar wall adds a lively, festive touch. The food is fresh, flavorful, and authentically prepared, perfectly paired with their delicious margaritas.

On our first visit, my husband and I were greeted by Nory Martinez, who welcomed us with the heartfelt phrase, “My house is your house.” It immediately reminded me of how my mother welcomed guests at home—warm, sincere, and inviting. That personal touch made the evening memorable.

The staff here truly elevates the experience. Yamileth, whom we recognized from another restaurant, brings a radiant smile and a personable approach that makes you feel like family. Manny was also wonderful—knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, and friendly.

As Ridgefield residents, we are thrilled to have Acapulco Grill & Bar in town. It is already one of our favorite spots, and we look forward to visiting often to enjoy great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and to support this outstanding local business.

This place is by far the best Mexican authentic food in ct, don’t be fooled by its location. This is a family owned and run place, you are greeted like family every time. Have been here so many times and have tried everything! All outstanding and authentic. Def give them a try you will not be disappointed

Our favorite restaurant by far! The people that work there are so friendly and attentive. The food is so fresh and tasty! We love starting out with their guacamole and one of our favorite meals is the Birria tacos and our favorite dessert is their Tartufo.

We had such a great experience!! The service was spot on and so friendly. We sat out front, which has a nice view (beyond the parking area). We were celebrating our daughter's birthday and they made it so fun, with not only a giant sombrero but quite the entertaining set of decorations as well, and the best churros we've ever had!

Had so much fun here last night with my 12 year old and Mom. We started with the guac (after the amazing salsa). The waitresses were all the *sweetest* and we loved the festive but low-key atmosphere, music playing, but not too loud. I had a Paloma (new obsession) and the veggie burrito. So good. With dishes came with a side of rice & beans, at least like kids' quesadilla. Presentation of the food with the orchids (I think?) was beautiful. Really lovely place in a kind of quirky location which gave the experience kind of a road trip feel.

the hidden gem of ridgefield. we drive here from stamford for, and it’s always worth it every time. fresh, authentic…the flan is homemade, and they prepare the guacamole right in front of you.

Just got home from a great experience at Acapulco! This was our first time going there, and we will be returning very soon. Yamileth was our server, she was awesome! She made the guac right in front of us. 10/10!
